Great quality video of an extremely talented youngster. Long way to go, and really no predicting what kids will or won't do down the line, but everything seems to be in place for this boy to go far in the game. **warning, soap box rant follows** I too have a youngster who is ahead of his peers in the game, and I confess to scanning YouTube for videos like this, for comparison's sake. One of the things that gets me about parents and coaches who post "8 YEARS OLD, NEXT RONALDO!" or "10 YEARS OLD, NEXT MESSI!" videos is this - I watch the videos, see the kid working the ball in his back yard, and obviously a ton of practice has gone on and the kid can juggle and dribble like crazy. Very impressive. Then comes the game footage. Technical skills are still very apparent, but the kid gets run down from behind and is working like mad to retain posession because he has no speed. The video on this thread is one of the most impressive I've seen because the youngster has both traits that could make him a star - superior technical skill and superior athletic ability. Messi and Ronaldo and their like are the best because they have both. That's what makes them special. I think some parents, and kids, are in for a very rude awakening. I don't care how quick your spin move or scissors are...if you don't have the athleticism and speed, you won't be that next whomever. **climbs down and looks sheepish**
lol nice video, not the best video but certainly a good one, this is the way Brazilians do it, just naturally, they live on the streets playing football every day, probably 3 times a day and until they get spotted, thanks for sharing
A very young british player, skill & speed with several premier league clubs after him. He was on BBC match of the day kickabout a few weeks back but can't see the video on iplayer for some reason. If he is like this at 6 what will he be like at 16?
How can you say how great he is when he is playing either by himself or with a clearly not very good single opponent? Do you honestly think that footskills = soccer? The biggest tragedy is watching 200 kids warm up for tryouts, doing tricks, juggling, and all sorts of fancy stuff. Then put them out on a field and watch it crash and burn. Why do you think Rhain Davis is not news any more? He just wasn't that good when you actually put him on the field. Big future in street and demonstration soccer. [EDIT: Reminds me of David Letterman's Stupid Pet Tricks]
