lol i got the same tradition.i always but both jerseys every year, even if i don't completely like it. now im just going to wait to see what players leave and the new signings to see what players to get. i just hope d.luiz stays one more year so like that one of the shirts will be his. the away jersey is ORANGE. benfica let the fans vote for the away jersey like 6 months ago. they had 3 options, orange, pink, some other color. and the orange won.

Brutal. For one wasn't the emblem on an oval white patch? For two benfica never had the single star when they were Euro Champs, they have 2 now and 50th anniverary or not (wow I have been saying "Living 40 years in the past for 10 years, looks like I have to upgrade) it is dumb to have the one star there. After that the kit design itself isn't retro at at all the line on the chest is pointless. And then the blue tmn logo is once again a distraction to an already fucly shirt. Just a train wreck especially this years SLB kits were class, I have to admit. But this new kit is well a poorly delivered joke.
I had read somewhere that the Away jersey was going to be white... where did you guys hear about this?
Benfica had fans vote for next season's alternate jersey on their site. Orange was the winner (other choices were lilac and neon yellow). That said, I did read on a Benfica forum that the away jersey will be white, and the fan voted shirt will a 3rd jersey. I don't know if there's any truth to that rumor though.
Why do you care what they do with the jerseys so much? The patch in the 60s i believe was a circle not an awkward ovalish style thing. They put the single star for that ONE title. I don't see the big deal because its a jersey it has nothing to do with braga. This is meant to be a modernized throw back
Not really into retro shirts but I do like the Benfica badge in the white patch and the old style button up collar. The blue box around the TMN logo is horrible. I don't understand why they can't just write TMN, it's not like people wouldn't know it was them without the blue box. The shorts and socks didn't look great in the photo but in the video they actually looked great together. I would drop the money if the blue box weren't there, but with the blue I'm going to have to pass. It's a shame, I'm liking the shirt more and more with each look.

This is just a mock-up, but I believe it was made by someone who has already seen the new away jersey. He made a mock-up of the new home jersey a couple weeks before it was released, and it was spot on. This years black away jersey has to be one of the best away jerseys in a long time. So clean! I love it! Wouldnt mind having it again.
I agree. I believe it is a bright orange, like Barcelona's away last year. Yeah It was nice. I have it. I'd take the frog over the huge blue TMN anyday!!!!
I like the picture someone has at that group with the sponsor in white lettering. Looks so much better than blue box.
