    LOL at Iker's celebration.

    Too much firepower!
You need more than a slippery field, three CBs, a tall guy and counter-attacking to hold the champions.

    Qualifying's an easy matter now.

Great game, congrats to the Belgians, they have a good team and they made us suffer like nobody in a long time. But their tactics were, IMO, too defensive.

We didn't play with three CB. Try again. And you guys didn't exactly overwhelm me with your quality. Nice of you to display some class in victory though. The only thing worse than a bad loser is a bad winner.

And our players complained about the condition of the field. There's not much they can do about it, as I had mentioned before.

Sorry, I thought Van Buyten, Kompany and Vermaelen were CBs.

Why, thank you. I'm pretty sure you're talking about my next post were I was actually congratulating you guys.

Vermaelen started at the left-back position. He moved to CB after Van Buyten went out injured and Daems came in. He hardly ever plays CB, even for Ajax!

Vermaelen mostly plays CB for Ajax as that is by far his best position. And yes we did play with 3 CB's yesterday.

I really enjoyed this match. Two attacking teams, quick field (I do not think it was that bad), a wonderful piece of art made by Iniesta (goal a-la-Butragueño) and a last minute winning :D

Regarding Belgium, I think it was a good young team that made an interesting game style. Kompany and Vanden Borre were superb in defense, Fellaini was all over the field, and Witsel really have talent. But SPAIN was too much for them.
