I've been a little sick for the past week or so, nothing major however, just the sniffles, and some coughing. I've continued playing, but my cardio-vascular fitness is significantly lower.

I did take about four days off beforehand, but that shouldn't be enough to hinder my fitness so much.

Yesterday in my indoor match my fitness was still poor, and I'm not even as sick anymore.

Your immune system requires an awful lot of energy to do it's job. I think we all underestimate how much. You'll be fine once it's finished! You might feel like the virus is gone but your body is still clearing up after it, plus you gotta replace all those cells that were killed to kill off the virus. A few more days and you should be back to how you were before you got sick :)

    Trust me, I'm a biomed :p

Disclaimer: I'm not a qualified biomed yet :D

Yeah, when you're ill (or even just after) you'll feel drained a lot easier. I've experienced it personally and it's horrible. You'll be fine.
