Nothing really, he has moved on to yet another conspiracy/ wet dream of his that will be proven wrong once again.
Exactly. Ollie is claiming that the powers that be at beIN have taken personal kickbacks from various content producers in exchange for over paying for rights. This is a libelous accusation, Ollie. We can only hope that the Qataris silence you as per their local custom.
What is the source of your info? I have U-verse, and I still see Gol TV, and it is still listed online in the Sports Package.
So how come now showing league 1 match replay and not live Valencia v Deportivo on channel 620 HD directv?? the match is available only at ch 426 spanish SD
So the on-screen guide is correct not the programming grid on BeIn's website or Facebook. Here is what isn't listed anywhere for BeInSports-HD... Monday: 2:45am Pescara v Inter (Delayed) 4:30am Roma v Catania (Delayed) 2:00pm Valladolid v Levanta (Live) 4:00pm At. Madrid v At. Bilbao (Live) Tuesday: 2:45pm Nottingham Forest v Wigan (League Cup - Live) 4:45pm Covenrty v Birmingham City (2-hr. Delayed) SA www.soccertvblog.com
I have uverse and it has been removed. I get nothing but a blue screen, however all of my other channels in the package like FSC still run.
He probably had his ego bruised when his blackmail attempt trying to force beIN in to offering him a job/money for cyber squating the beIN twitter and Facebook addresses didn't work. I mean he flew from San Francisco to Miami on his own dime only to be laughed out of the beIN offices. Otherwise no reasoning or evidence behind his latest theory...based on his history here and other forums, just one of his latest preoccupation that will be proven wrong...once again. I mean the guy jumps from one silly idea to the next with out ever admitting his previous idea was proven wrong. Thus, the need for multiple usernames. Also, why would someone claim to be posting from Canada when we all know he is in San Francisco? No credibility whatsoever so far. Why would one care if beIN is overpaying for league rights, paying to be on TV providers, or not showing ads yet? Not my money. I'm actually glad more money will be going to my team as a result of this unusual business model. May help pay for the Neymar transfer fee next season lol. And by all means let them pay to go on providers, all it means is that I will be able to watch my team on my TV soon. I also think they can afford to forgo the measly ad revenue for a while, after all they are mega oil billionaires.
Mods, how long until you red card Oliver's latest sockpuppet? Oliver, man up and make your accusations using your real account.
SA, Thanks for this update. I just got home and was about to seek out some other sources for the Roma game. It's good to know that I don't need to do this. BTW, I wasn't seeing anything listed on the BEIN site or the FB page for Monday+. Their grid only goes up to today (Sunday). Is there some other source we can use to find this info? I ask because the on-screen guide on DirecTV was wrong all weekend other than Nancy-Lille and Ajaccio-Valenciennes (or vice versa for home team). Hopefully you will see this since it's clear this thread is about to devolve. Perhaps using the weekly schedule thread will be best for discussions about what is on and where. Also, given your earlier post in this thread about conflicting start times, can you provide some sense of what happened today? Should I (and others) be setting the DVR to record repeats of Ligue 1 or Serie A matches? I'm not worried about La Liga (other than Valencia which I should be covered).
I think they are operating on the fly. I don't think they have any clue how they are suppose to do things. They make RAI look good.
I have U-verse, and GolTV is still in the lineup. You might want to reboot your U-verse receiver. By the way, FSC is not part of the Sports Package. It is included in the U200 and above packages.
Since I can't edit that last post, I should add that DirecTV's on-screen guide matches the schedule SA lists above for Sunday night/Monday morning. Now if BeIN can only figure stuff out in advance. In their defense, though, Gol had problems for the longest time. Fox is the only network dedicated to soccer that has known how to post a schedule well in advance and to make sure the providers have that info. I get that Gol (and now BeIN) are dealing with a league, in La Liga, that can't get its act together and Ligue 1 is screwy right now because of the heat, but one would think that BeIN interns can make some calls to BeIN France (for Ligue 1) and their media contact at La Liga, Serie A, etc. to find out what's what.
