Do they sell Yards at the stadium? http://the700level.com/soccer-union/sons-of-ben-soccer-fan-group-get-their-own-beer-from-yards/ ----------- -EDIT- Maybe I should find out if my Jolly Franklin branded swag agreement carries over to libations ...
If they're only doing kegs and sixels then why's there a mock-up of a 12 oz bottle label? If I can get this on tap for my restaurant, I'm doing it.
The more I think about this I think it's a hoax. 1. 12 oz mockup with no plans for bottle distribution to start. 2. I didn't get an email about this like the article claimed. 3. Nothing on the Yards website about it.
I received an email at 11:57A, the subject line of which was "SOB - THE BEER / AWAY TRIPS / RSL TAILGATE / MEMBERS SHIRT" containing the label mock-up and the following text: Kenny (Hanson?) commented on the700Level's article saying it's no April Fools' joke. Plus, sending it out a day late would be lame ... So, really, who the eff knows?
On the Wings of Armageddon is pretty durn tasty. Like everything in MLS, Seattle invented the beer-supporters group cross pollination. Redhook No Equal Amber Lager http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/18134/79712/
my good friend owns neshaminy creek brewing. i asked why there would be a label with no bottle production? his response- "you have to for federal approval. yeah in know, it doesnt make sense , but you have to create a label with certain things, even if you are only making kegs"
Yeah, we don't do a lot of business with them, and I wonder if they'd ship it as far northeast as I am.
I had a half keg of that in my house. This is Jeremy, one of the owners. We tailgated with Leon, and put mini marshmallows in it
Im going to use this thread to make an announcement. If you read the above posts, itll all make sense.... I recently resigned my position in big corporate america banking, and as of next week, will be the Philadelphia brand manager for Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. so, start buying it, and if you already do- buy more. Jokes aside, my goal is to build this brand (even more) in the region, so start asking for it at your local bars/distributers...i have a feeling you will also be seeing alot more of it in the ppl lots. Ill keep you guys posted on events (some union/sob related are in prelim works). Maybe we can finally get an SOB beer in cans like it deserves . also, i welcome any feedback about the product or events.
Deff. We are expanding the gift shop and tasting room as we speak. Gonna have a legit bar in the front and sell full pints.
My bro and his GF are coming up to my place on Sunday and told me they'd be swinging by NCBC on their way.
