I love my Apple, but the only thing I do with it is play FM14, go on the internet, and write papers for school. I just bought a new one a few months ago, my other one lasted me a good 5 years and it still ran as fast the last day as it did the 1st. Bought a new one for bigger screen and all that cool stuff.
Very true, but until recently no Windows laptops could compete with the resolution and color accuracy of the "retina" display. If all you do is play FM14, write papers and surf the web, you might as well buy a $500 Dell instead of wasting $1000-2000 on an Apple.
Except I use to get Dell laptops and those were consistent pieces of shit. I'll stick to Apple which has been reliable from now on.
Well my piece of shit HP that I bought for $400 for my wife 4 years ago is more than enough to do all the things that you do on your expensive Apple and it's been plenty reliable and she still uses it everyday.
At least I have enough money left over to buy some cookies and medals since I didn't waste a fortune on a high end laptop that is never used for even 10% of its potential.
Ok fine, but since I spent so much on my Mac, I can only afford the shipment via donkey, so I can't give you an estimate arrival time, but they're on their way.
This Tech Moment brought to you by RecSpecs.... Great thread topic however.... I am all for it, I love learning from you youngins!
Fios subs (and others perhaps)....One World Sports added to Fios (Ch 309)....they carry FCB.tv and I guess will show Bayern matches on delay. This channel also shows content from club channels from Arsenal, Chelsea, AC Milan, plus a bunch of other footy programming... http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/...rts-joins-the-fray-of-soccer-TV-channels.html
Anyone else getting psyched for the final season of Bundesliga on GolTV? Can't wait to watch it in Spanish on sh#tty, ghost-ridden SD ...for 15 bucks a month no less for the TV El Mundo Package But then again, I know some can't even watch the games so maybe I should shut up
