Ill post up a longer one later on www.noquartersoccer.com but overall the Battery seemed to be playing very conservative tonight and didn't seem to be able to put it together like they did in the CCC match agains TFC and Chicago and even in the other preseason matches. But well take the win. By the way there will quite a few Battery fans at the Dayton Dutch Lions match next weekend. You near there? Mikey
about as close as you can get in the US! The Southern Derby match will be April 29 in Charlotte and Aug 12 back here (and Live on FSC!)
Understandable, The Junior ROTC unit that work volunteer each week at the Battery (for the last couple years IRC) is haveing a drill competetion in Dayton that night. usllive.com was a quite a disappointment today, was wanting to see the match from last night their not showing it. But happy to take the 3 points from Charlotte. Hopefully Ill make a few matches this year.
give it a chance, last year the match didnt show up for a day or so. It would be great if it was availble right after the match or at least a highlight reel shortly after the match but compare to a few years ago, it is miles above where it was! Mikey
also was wondering how did our new keeper look? Is he good enough to maybe get it done in the USOC and league championship possibly?
He made a few questionable decisions but made a couple good saves as well. I think he will get another look next week. Overall the guys just looked nervous or something. They had some good looking matches in preseason where everything looked like it was clicking. that "something" was missing Saturday night.
