Well, that's 2 days before my birthday so I think I know what I'll treat myself to. Any ideas on what changes are going to be made? I believe they said Detective Mode is going to differ slightly since they found people to be playing almost exclusively in DM. Also I think the combo system will change slightly as well?

i was at Best Buy today and if you preorder from them you'll get some exclusive DLC featuring challenge maps that you can play as Robin. So, you know, there's that.

Makes sense seeing as he's supposed to be a 55-year old who just recently came out of superhero retirement.

Tell me about it. I'm even considering delving into The Old Republic, even though I really don't have the time to waste on an MMORPG...
Only a few more days and the early reviews coming in are giving the game nothing but praise. Has there been any clarification on why if you buy the game new you need to be connected online to play the catwoman missions? Cause if that is true its pretty sucky for those who aren't connected.
I was at GameStop on Tuesday and talking to one of the sales guys about various games. He brought me to the the door that goes to the backroom, pops back out with the Special Edition of Arkham City, the one with the statue. He had two in store for the 360 just sitting there. I offered to buy it on the spot but he couldn't. The statue looks really nice. As for the game, I'm really looking forward to it. Going to the NY Comic-con this weekend and WB Games has a booth, as well as XBox. One of the games (besides Mass Effect 3 which I'm stoked for and Halo CE) they'll have playable is Arkham City. Definitely going to wait in line to try it out.
I'm pissed off that - once again - PC gamers have to wait longer for the release. Especially since they promised to release it together with the console versions this time around.
That unfortunately seems to be a growing trend, whether it's a delayed PC release ala L.A. Noire or a discontinuation of PC releases altogether ala the EA Sports games (except for the FIFA series and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series). -G
OMG!!! I love this game. Initially I intended to just rent it, I haven't the time and have other things to spend money on but the rental isn't cutting it, I'm going to buy it tomorrow. Hoping to beat this completely, or as much as possible, before Uncharted 3 rolls in, the only game I pre-ordered. Supposedly there are like 400 Riddler trophies, wtf!?!? And to play as Catwoman you have to buy the game, the code comes inside.
