I also had a great time. Thompson was in my group and was a very good guy. I agree that Q Kirk was very fun to be around--I kept telling him to give us Becks phone number so we could call him! It was good to see folks as I haven't been to any games since Max was born 2 months ago. Already looking forward to it next time--I am only 1/4 mile from Top Golf--good thing, I would not have made it far driving last night.

I have been hanging out with Jeff for some time. He knew we (I) are/am nuts, I think he just got a dose of how sane I am compared to some of our members.
Who got the Forrest Jersey. I was beat by the heat and headed home before the raffle. A good time had by all. Oscar cheats like a mo-fo. Once again, thanks to all the DCU folks, and to all the attendees. Love it when a bunch of nut jobs show up with a bucket of money for charity.

I know!! I'm so bummed about this. He was a really nice guy and a promising player. Stupid MLS rules. He wanted to trade jerseys at the next game too. Grrrr! (Would it be kosher to send him one?)
No biggie. I just feel bad that he didn't get one on Wednesday because he wanted to get one at a game. I'm sure he's got bigger things to worry right now but still.
Kind of late but here are the pics I took... Big props to Rob and everyone else who set this event. Glad I got to 'actually' meet people and put faces to go with bigsoccer ids. My kids and I had a blast and even though we had to skip about 5 holes due to pit stops, it was still a fun course to play in. Newly acquired Ivan Guerrero played with us and he's simply awesome. He's very humble and down to earth. Very glad I got to hang out with him. Props to the groups who were before and behind us.. You guys were just too f'n funny... Made the whole experience even that much more enjoyable.
