Crowds sings for Valdes after his first touch against Osasuna in Camp Nou (first home game after it was announced he would not be renewing), Puyol claps too and Victor raises his hand in acknowledgment.
I know, I know, it's a site dedicated to Crispino, but it has really excellent streams on match days. Beinsport comes in very clearly as do some of the Spanish carriers, ie. Gol T and Canal +. Beinsport is the most consistent it seems. Anyhow, thought I'd throw this in, maybe it's already been noted and you are all aware. Saves a lot of hassle trying to find working streams...
Don't know if anyone caught SportsCenter this morning but they were doing a "biggest star in sports" debate with their analysts from different sports. The 5 contenders were Lebron James, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, Kevin Durant, and Messi. With only one guy mentioning his name and saying this is a "biggest star in the world" debate, Messi came in second to Lebron. Take it for what it's worth but I think this shows the popularity of Messi and FC Barcelona here in the U.S. along with the growth of the game in general. Now I know this is just a stupid Facebook poll on ESPN but if the average ESPN viewer knows Messi than something is going right.
i would think that to be considered among the biggest star in world sports, you should be playing a sport that is of relevance to more than one or two countries. other than messi, tiger woods is the only one listed there that i've even heard of before, but what do i know?
