I just read an article which had a delicious irony about Rooney complaining that SAF lacked ambition. SAF then proves him wrong by buying a better striker than Rooney, who helps bench Rooney for the recent CL match.

Been rumours that SAF has wanted him out ever since he pretended to want out just to get a pay rise but they had to wait until they got someone else in. RVP is that man and it is said they will take around £20M for him this summer if anyone is offering.

Rooney has always struggled with fitness and weight and he was photographed smoking a cigarette on holiday a little while back. SAF reportedly went berserk when he saw it.

As an Englishman I would be very happy to see him gone from the PL. I think most people are bit sick of him these days to be honest.

 

He doesn't look like a player who would enjoy living abroad.

 

At least he would pick up another language quite easily though.

Rooney would be a nice player for us, since he is a decent striker with great technical skills. Unlike Benz, he is also a great finisher
