Thank God he moved to the part of the field where we're dying for more options. :(

Thanks for the updates sky. It's good hearing updates on this kid and I'm glad he's thriving under the Barcelona youth system. Hope he makes it far but won't count him as a chicken until he hatches. Gogo Korean Messi.

To be honest, we need strikers as well as central midfielders. Our strikers are pretty crap right now.

Haha dude I was being sarcastic. You really think our MF is the weak link in the KNT currently?

ya, we need some holding midfielders...

ki sung yong's pretty good, but cant defend worth a crap... they say he's getting better at it, but who knows...

strikers... they'll come along... park c young's good enough

that kid at hamburg looks pretty park ji sung-ish...

ok, i'm the last one to say sh*t like... oh, that kid's the korean ____... when people started calling pcy korean rooney, i was embarrassed for the country...

but seriously, that kid at hamburg plays just like kaka... moves like him, shoots like him... just sayin'

we have wingers, but we always had problems in the middle...

i liked advocat's answer to it in 2006... bak ji hoon and lee ho... while kim nam il sat in the bench... buncha hobos

Awesome, hope we get to see more of him now that he's at the level where matches are shown on BarcaTV.

You are now aware he's in the 'A' team for his youth level. I think this has been the case ever since the start of the new season, but the Korean media kept reporting that he was in the 'B' team--which he actually can't be part of because of the age restriction.

Cha Bumkeun praised him a lot when he was young. Cha knows a young talent when he sees one so that should mean something.

Well there are plenty of Koreans who spell their surname Paik so I'd say they're all the way there already. ;)

Thanks for the find ji. Though his goal was pretty nice... it still weirds me out to see such youngsters with internet highlights / fancy jerseys / etc. I can't tell if its because he's so young or cause he makes me feel so old.

Man, not even MUTV shows their academy team this much. I guess its got alot to do with FC Barca who like to show their academy players on the net and TV even though its impossible to tell how much of a player these guys will develop into.
Lets hope these kids (Baek and Kim Woo Hong) develop into the next Son Heung Min (oh look im already looking out for the next Son lol).
