Just picked up more food and glucosamine tabs for Alice (the OTHER one!). Her hips are so bad, I didn't even try to take her along.
But at Petco, I did encounter a very tiny black lab pup. Little guy attacked me, tail wagging furiously...sniffing at my socks, prolly wondering "where is this 'Alice' ? "
I tried to scratch behind his ears, and he tried to nip at my hands.
He eventually flopped onto his back, and went all glassy-eyed when I started to scratch his chest.
Needless to say, it made my morning.
