IIRC, they "gots" not one but two games on you not long ago. ;-) Of course, that particular argument won't be settled until next week, and there won't be anything settled until the week after that.
But in the gold cup with the B team and a bad coach is nothing, there's more to Mexico then just those results a lot more lol
Two B teams just fyi. And youre right, next week solves everything but if panama wins, I think it would show that CONCACAF is stronger, not a weaker Mexico
Yes im sure. Panama had only 4 om the field from their original WCQ XI IIRC. And even if it was a weakened mexico, they should have gone farther. Is your starting XI the only good players you got? The reason Mexico is supposed to be giant is that they have a deep pool of talent, or am I wrong? Yes, Mexico could start winning, it still doesn't mean CONCACAF isn't getting stronger. I personally will never say Mexico sucks because they've accomplished so much, but when you bag on other teams because they're 'weak' I laugh when mexico lose.
No lol they had like 8 or 9 or even more players from their WCQ XI and our starting XI was made up of completey fringe players, and Mexico have a deeper untested pool then concacaf realizes with all our youth titles it only proves that we are the giants of concacaf lol
They had 7. Yes that is alot. But if your pool is so deep and so accomplished, why couldnt they translate it into the tournament? Clearly CONCACAF is getting stronger and while Mexico might still be "the better team" (which I personally think they arent at the moment) the gap is closing. By the next hexagonal, the matches will be amazingly entertaining to watch
I knew it was more then what you said, I honestly thought chepo called up alot of bad players who arent national team material, I thought he could of done better with the roster
Yea I looked at the rosters. Alot of those players are talent ed players though. You You can't say they aren't
Well is a good thing the good players like Lobos and Gimenez are finally going to start playing, it was about time. To bad Alvarez got hurt, maybe Zinhia can step in for 2 more games. I am glad Mexico has Argentinian-Mexicans to save them from Pre-World Cup Elimination like in 2010. Vamos Mexico! Vos si poder! Che no sean Pelotudos.
Lol come on we aren't the US, I don't know about starting thats a bit pushy but they definitely be a part of the team for these next two games, nice to see yet another German foreigner on the US team I've been here since 09 lol
Mexico and some of its fans are continue to exhibit the textbook definition of hubris: An excess of ambition, pride, etc., ultimately causing the transgressor's ruin
Yup, I knew there was going to be more to the story.... *sigh* He said "at least fourth", i.e. third or fourth (first and second are taken) - impossible to be eliminated. If you want fourth, you can certainly leave third to them, though. =-)
I can't see Honduras losing to Jamaica. Jamaica was utterly dismal on Friday night against the US. Just terrible. If the US had actually needed that game, and played like they cared, it would have been 6-0. Jamaica has some really good athletes, but they're tactically and technically naive. They have absolutely no creativity coming out of the midfield. It's just "hoof it to one of the speedy forwards..............and hope their athletic ability wins out." And as far as Panama goes..................they've still only won one game in the hex. Their "greatness" has been inflated to a ridiculous degree. I don't know why people are assuming that Panama is going to beat the United States. The US beat Panama in the Gold Cup final with a team with less talent than the one we'll be bringing to Panama City. We're bringing a team full of players that are hungry to make an impression on Klinsmann in order to win a World Cup spot.
