Here here. K, Chris and others who normally are running around during the DCU tailgates, I salute you. Great work with a larger than usual crowd, shorter timespan and crappy weather.

Ditto. As always a job well done. Great pre-tailgate, tailgate, game and after party. Can't wait to do it again.

Great, great support and environment. There's still nothing like getting that late equalizer. Couldn't have been in better company :D

Man, what can i say that would capture my excitement of attending that first game.. Wow! i have attended quite a few big College football games and many other sporting events but the experience Wednesday night was absolutely phenomenal and easily the best atmosphere i have been around in attending a live sporting event in the states thus far (i am easy to please though). Can you really beat the tailgate? i mean 10 dollars for food and beer, and get to mingle with a good fired up crowd. people very cordial, songs consistently starting up. Marching into the stadium! very good seats in the support sections, affordable. Stands moving, smoke bombs going off, the Charlie Davies salute, the weather, the singing, the constant standing, the endurance of the crowd. The last 20 minutes of the game was just awesome! I could go on and on, but i just wanted to let you all know that i just had an awesome time and i hope that we can create the same fan experience next summer where i will be attending my first Cup.

Someone may have mentioned this but in the whole stadium not just in the supporters' sections everyone was standing through much of the game. I've been to one other qualifier that had so many standing through so much of the game.

Yeah, Wednesday was nuts. I've been to a lot of US games at RFK - and lots of other places too - but Wednesday night was the best atmosphere I've seen at a US game in a long time.

Ives Galarcep, who was at our tailgate, agreed, saying "the USA fans at RFK Stadium were unbelievable and arguably the best I've seen at a USA game".

AODC is two months old, you ain't nothing yet!

Here's the grand finale with plenty of shots of the RFK crowd if you want bring the goose bumps back:
