    inspired by CrewBeat's posting in WTF.

    and now, the inspiration from which this thread came.....

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gGpAriVywY&feature=player_embedded#"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame]

    hopefully this spin off will be better than the Cleveland show.

    The Pirate Bay is back up this morning, the whole thing is basically telling the RIAA to go fcuk themselves:

    Even better is the legal page, it's their response to all the complaints to take down ****************, most of which are hilarious.

    Sorry, loving the new thread a bit too much already, so many awesome things :D

    it's awesome in the true sense, not necessarily good, and on par with the punch from the Jersey Shore.

    Matador Julio Aparicio is gored through the chin. the video is pretty graphic, especially around 1:10 mark when you can see the bull force his horn through Aparicio's chin at which point, it momentarily comes out of his mouth.

    True exam answer when I was TA-ing freshman chem at tOSU:

    Define a collimator (basically it's used to align light for spectral measurements):

    "A cross between a collie and an alligator." The student got a 0 but a lol from this TA.

    Hard to tell where to put this: It's Funny, WTF, and Awesome depending on WHY and who you're asking:

    Watch this:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjFRuAPatdg"]From the rider's seat[/ame]

    Then the news coverage:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpAYzlVkaO4"]Ooops! I said TAP them, G@#$@#!![/ame]

    Okay... the FUNNY is when the pilot talks to his buddies, afterwards

    The WTF is
    A: It's pretty freaking obvious from the video either the pilot screwed up or there's a considerable problem with the brake system
    B: It sure's F#$#$ AINT 'Bizarre'. This happened a LOT in these planes, usually when a newby pilot was not used to landing on hard runway. Happens on grass, no sweat... might not even know it.

    The AWESOME is that the reporter got to see firsthand why small planes went to trike (nosewheel) landing gear.

    New Prop, Engine rebuild, airframe inspection, skin patches.. not exactly cheap no matter how it looks.

    And I aint even CLOSE to being an A&P
    --------------------------------------------
    It's just my opinion but I have the feeling the pilot was showing off. Got that from how soon he hit brakes after touchdown. Also no yaw, so it wasnt a wheel brake fail.

    So that makes it primarily a WTF

    Looks like wind shear to me. Happens occasionally. He caught an updraft with his stabilizers and it flipped him. On a plane that has normal undercarrage, this isn't a problem because the center of gravity is far enough back that there's enough weight on the plane's tail. Not so in this case. I would think that it's not a brake issue because they would smoke a lot more than that before they lock and it flips.
