he hasnt started in over 3 seasons more than 5 games he needs a little time, you cant expect him to be in top form with only playing a few friendlies

Nacional is playing horrible.I do not only blame barahona, defense is sloppy. midfield is actually playing mediocre. Im impressed with Angulo but is a bit naive. The forwards do not appear. As much as I like Nacional, it just isnt their night. As for Santa Fe, they are playing extremely well. Mosquera is a effing Crack. 2 goals 1 assist and was involved in the other goal. Man of the match.

no, i'm sorry, I dont agree with you.....I didnt say top form....losing 5-0 is not only keeper, but Barahona received today at least 3 goals that he souldn't get. and I blame the managment for this. spending so much money on good players that' ok, but a top keeper like ospina left you have to bring a good keeper instead of 2 avarage ones. Landazuri, Arenas, Castellanos, but you can't continue with Barahona. every shot SF had I was so afraid, and unfortunatlly 5 of them went in.

The millos keeper Cuadrado did great today too.....

Yea I am sure Nacional could have gotten Landuarzzi on the cheap

haha I said the title was up to Nacional and Santa fe ..... but I guess not hope nacional gets better when Gio Moreno starts playing

I honestly son't understand these defenders. they were all suck last tournament also. Beto Mendoza is a talented defender and he already showed his skills before. walter and Estiven are natoinal team players. Chara also veteran player. so what the F*** happened?? (beside Barahona which I hope was his last game for us-I think Blandon will start vs. Once) and I also I can't remember when was the last time that I hadn't confidence in our keepers. Patino, Saldarriaga, Ospina. all were very good keeper, but unfortunatlly Barahona isn't fit for this team. we should have still Julio to SF. I really hope that this will be the last kind of performance that I will see from my team this tournament. we ,the fans, already dream of star no.11 but SF hit us 5 times and brought us down to earth. maybe it's all for the best, so the players, coaches, managment and fans will understand that money can't buy titles. you need to play for it (kinda reminds me Colombia 94, perfect NT with perfect players who got achieved nothing at the end)

    Nacional got hammered ugly...

its one thing not being able to score against them they have the best colombian keeper at the moment but to lose 5-0 to any team is ugly.... but hope Santa fe plays half this well against Real Madrid next week

I really hope that it was a hell of a "wake up call" for our players. on the paper we probably have the talented team in Colombia. in reality we got nothing. only round 1, I have to be optimistic. the season will start for us next week vs. Once Caldas. hopefully Gio Moreno will be ready and Piedrahita too. (ohh and Blandon , of course)

Dep Cali and Nacional are in a league of their own when it comes to squads but they both have shit coachs.....

why did this tool get to coach Nacional ??? Whens the last time he coached???? and Fing NAcional !!! Why did they fire Quintabni after he got 2 titles in 1 year.... because the owners were retarded and sold their most important player Aldo Rameriez, and didnt replace Aristi??

Colombia needs new coachs and I hope when this tool fails that they give Aristi a shot at coach

He doesn't convince me.................he looks like the typical colombian player with talent who feels that it doesn't have to do anything to earn a spot on a team..

    too inconsistent..........

I dont know man .... he seems pretty amazing to me just might be too young to be our only play maker but in a 4-4-2 he would be great playing with Luis Mosquera or even Guarin and Soto or the wings

I mean he isnt a striker he just makes the team play better, but has good goal scoring abilities, good on free kicks.... and can take the team on his shoulders like he did today they were playing like crap and he took a chance(which most our players dont)

and what #10 does colombia have that is consistent cause its def not G10, Big Mac, Tessor or Aldo....

Also Blandon seems like a real good keeper

I don't like players who will walk the field and will stay next to the sideline on the last 15 minutes of the game. The guy barely sprints ......you don't see him put out that energy that the current game demands. For now, he's the typical player who wants to walk the field, put three or 4 pases to the forwards and shoot once or so......and then for the rest of the game he's out of sight....I DEMAND MORE ENERGY......no prima donnas who will walk the field and un tuck their shirt after the first 30 minutes of the game.....And that's from me......a Nacional fan.

I agree with you 100%. I also saw the game and this is not a team that can threat the championship. I don't want to judge so fast, but I'm afraid that the job is too much big on Barrabas. In my opinion we have the best squad in the league, maybe with Millos and still we didnt play well. the 3 PTS are theimportant of course, but I expect for much better performance, especially at home. I like Gio Moreno a lot, I'm sure he'll leave his remark on the team. I also felt much more secure with Blandon as a keeper. Barrabas is so insecure about Barahona that he wasn't even on the bench!! Vargas was the sub keeper. I also think that it was mistake of Barrabas to play with Moreno as a forward. we saw that he always go back to receive balls and he's more dangerous when he plays as an attacking midfielder, so basically Munoz played as a lonely forward in the first half and our game looked horrible. I think e should play with Munoz-Renteria or Villagra-Renteria since Galvan will probably leave and I wish we didn't sign Yanez. Carmelo isn't playing well for almost a year now so we need to give De Voz a chance or even try to sign Argentine Luis Escalada, I herd he's a good player. next game away vs. Bucaros. won't be easy at all, and I hate to start the season like last semester. hope that yesterday's win gave the players confidence for the rest of the league. :)

and i agree with you gio always went all the way back so he can drive the ball thru the field also we cant play with on striker you cant blame munoz for anything he was by himself so he basically couldnt do anything and i also strongly agree with you on barrabas yes its early but he had 2 1/2 months to see who is fit for starter and all hopefully he will have a line up ready for all the next games and doesnt have to keep switching formation and starters and yes its always hard for use to play bucaramanga especially in thier staduim will juss see what happen

well he plays a position that really you dont notice and camera never focus's on much like Gago but if nacional fought to get him as hard as they did its because the kid is good and want to see him more b4 making a judgement only time I have seen him play b4 today was the sub 20 when he scored a goal on Venezulea

then I believe he was a LB or CB not a DM like he is know

I liked Harold Martinez last game tho he made some nice passes and is good in attacking

Think Nacional just needs to play with 2 strikers and should be a tough team to beat
