The new away jersey. I visited training last week. Based on what I saw, I expect the ball to be played through the midfield far more than we have seen in the past.

Tottenham 2-1 Athletic @ White Hart Lane [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0jKTBbSat8"]Tottenham vs Athletic Bilbao 2:1 HIGHLIGHTS / Friendly, 6.8.2011‏ - YouTube[/ame] Athletic came out well and won the first half. Bielsa is going to mix up the roster, unafraid to put players in new positions. Iturraspe, the young defensive midfielder, is a winner under Bielsa, getting big minutes with the new manager. Ruiz de Galarreta, one of the brightest stars in our pipeline, also got some action. Tottenham basically overhauled their lineup in the second half, and the new energy saw them overwhelm a young Athletic team. Both clubs are dealing with big sharks circling in on their stars. Tottenham is fending off offers for Modric. Llorente continues to be a target for every big club on the planet.
I'm really excited for this season. All the stars are aligned, Bilbao have Bielsa as their coach, Ander Herrera, Javi Martinez, Fernando Llorente, Iker Muniain, and a giant supporting cast around them on the field... They will be fighting for a CL spot at least!
Bilbao fans, how is the team looking so far? I love the Bielsa hire. His teams are fun to watch because it is "damn the torpedos, full ahead" attacking soccer. Hopefully, Llorente will be a major beneficiary of the attacking system.
We drew, but not for lack of opportunities. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qibQcEtucvw"]Athletic Bilbao 0 - 0 Trabzonspor (HD) Mac Özeti 18.8.2011 - YouTube[/ame] You can see how much more aggressive Bielsa's version of Bilbao is. Now it is up to the attackers to put things away. Tough draw at home to Trabzonspor, but a win away in Turkey is not impossible.
Dude, Llorente had horrible luck in that game and we all know he is a lethal finisher. I think they looked pretty aggressive on the attack. So that is a good sign as long as the defense doesn't get caught with their pants down.
Bilbao, keep up the good information/ videos. I am interested to see how the season plays out. They could be on to something this year like a successful Europa run or give Barca/ RM serious fits during the La Liga.

True, but dropping two points at home against a promoted team is a tough way to start. But I will choose to see your silver lining. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bxqbqSu9Gw&hd=1"]Atheltic Bilbao - Rayo Vallecano (1:1) - 2.Spieltag / 28.08.2011 - Full Highlights & Goals - HD - YouTube[/ame]

We had way to many runs die in the corners and just seemed sloppy overall. =(
