got that email too. There's a video of some of the players with the (blurred out) jersey.

I'm excited for this season (as always).

Lots of youth, but that can be a good thing. Who steps up at CB, LB, and LM are the big questions. Kinda disappointed we couldn't get Joseba Llorente, even though we have a bunch of forwards with our new signings.

Just saw the new uniforms. They look classy. Team is shaping up pretty well, assuming we retain Javi Martinez we should make another run at a European place. This will be the year of Muniain.

I got no complaints about the home jersey, and I like the color of the goalie jersey.

Let's make this a memorable centenary season!

    Hey Leones,
I hope I didn't offend anyone with this post. A buddy of mine has pointed out this might be offensive to some on here and me being a complete dolt on some underlying political issues may have, unknowingly, stepped on some toes. That was never my intent. If so, Please accept my humble apologies.

    Sincerely,
    IvanIV

The Basques and Catalans celebrated the World Cup victory with equal enthusiasm as anyone else in Spain. I don't think that should offend too many people, at lest on bigsoccer

Yes, it would be a very thin-skinned person looking to be offended who would take offense to your comments, Ivan. Most of us have learned to retain our culturual identity within the Spanish nation and identify ourselves to some degree, as both.

PS - agree on the collar, but Umbro's design is intentionally very traditional. Overall it has a similar look and feel to the England National Team jersey of this past World Cup.

since we all support the US and Athletic, I thought I'd introduce my "Athletic United (States)" starting XI

In a 4-2-3-1, even though both teams play a 4-4-2

    ---------------------Howard-------------------------
    Iraola----Onyewu---Amorebieta---Spector/Koikili
    ----------------Javi M.-------Bradley---------------
    Susaeta/Holden----Donovan----Muniain/Dempsey
    ----------------------Llorente------------------------

We can do an all Basque one next

ya, If Caparros is brave enough to go with muniain on the left and susaeta on the right, I'll be even more excited. I hope Balenziaga, who's back with the club, is only the backup leftmid at best because Caparros has been playing him there in preseason even though he's a left-back
