Love Modric's game. Skill AND work ethic. He's the type of player you hate to play against. People like Ronaldo, you know he's gonna kill you going forward but he'll let you play when you have the ball. Modric won't, and he can still kill you going forward.
Does anyone find the "Luka Modric REDEMPTION SEASON" narrative a little strange given how anyone that was paying attention noticed he was already becoming an integral part of the squad in the second half of last season?
Yeah, it's kinda silly but it is clear that as he has settled in further his game has gotten even better.

Modric was the man of the match. That man did so many things for the team, it is unbelievable. Bayern was coming after Modric like a man just getting out of prison and seeing what he wants....
yesterday, luka's daughter Ema celebrated first birthday... i just love this guy & his family... they are so simple and humble outside pitch..
Outstanding again against Bayern. Think it's a good time to bring up what our good friends at Sport had something to say when he first signed.. Also a good piece here worth reading -> http://www1.skysports.com/football/...panish-side-as-they-go-in-search-of-la-decima
Not his best game that's for sure. Too many passes were over hit and not his usual penetrating self with the ball at his feet. This can be attributed to how good Atletico were at shutting us out. Brilliant season overall. Absolutely love him. What a player. So happy for him. Onwards and upwards. <3
