A. Académica de Coimbra have unveiled Portuguese central defender Litos after he ended a five-year stay in Spain with Málaga CF player. The 32-year-old Litos's last Liga season was the 2000/01 campaign with Boavista FC when he helped them to the title. He has been given a two-year contract.

so basically joeano saved you from relegation and was your best player thats good news for us, we'll need him especially for the uefa cup im suprised he wasnt wanted by better teams in portugal or europe but its great we got him

Heavy loss at home. Academica 1-3 Nacional. Dame scored for the Estudantes and only at the end of the 1st half did Nacional come alive. A hand by Litos in the box generated the PK that Nacional used to turn around the score. The 2nd half belonged to Nacional taking full advantage of their superiority in numbers. Litos & Medeiros saw red. ( for Litos it's his 2nd in four matches). The up-shot of no victories in five matches is that Machado, the coach , was fired.

Sp. Braga 4-2 Academica. (Lino 3', Litos 40' scored the Estudantes' goals) 2-2 at half-time. An exciting game , where the Estudantes scored early , but found themselves behind still in the first half. They did react well and equalized before the rest period. The second half proved that Sp. Braga is a strong team as they scored two more goals for the win and got back in the third place. .
ACADÉMICA-MARÍTIMO, 1-2 (Gyano 81; Mbesuma 34', 77') 0-1 at half time. The locals dominated the game but the visitors were deadly in the two opportunities that they had. Marcos MOM in keeping the Estudantes from scoring . A late goal by Gyano wasn't enough to change the loss of the 3 points.

We really missed our 2 centre backs, Litos and Medeiros. Our defense was really crappy in the first half. But we deserved a draw for what we did in the 2nd half. That Nestor Alvarez is a log.
