Got bored of the first one pretty quickly. The next two fixed almost everything that bothered me about the first one.
Yeah, the first one did tend to get repetitious. But I was (unsuccessfully) being facetious, thinking that you thought there were only 2 AC games prior to Revelations.

I was hoping for a Feudal Japan or even Victoarian Era England.But this works! Judging from the facial structures of that character,I'm guessing he'll be a Native American? Either way,I'm really looking forward to this.
well that's all kinds of crazy/interesting .... i got relevations a few weeks ago but it hasn't been able to hold my interest. loved all the others.

I'm really hoping we'll be able to take Connor to the streets of Philadelphia and maybe do a leap of faith or two from the top of Independence Hall ... ... or maybe even Christ Church.
I couldn't get into Revelations at all, even the multiplayer which I loved in Brotherhood didn't do anything for me. I think I was just done with Ezio's story and the Renisance time period.

Revelations was highly lacking for me, hoping this new one brings back that "wow" feeling like I had with AC II. Excited that they chose a new location.
I need to pick up Revelations. Got through Brotherhood rather quickly and started through the first one since I had never played it, just watched my brother play it and knew what happened at the end. Got sick of that one kinda quickly since every single mission is the same. Going to find a used copy of Revelations on the cheap somewhere.
I give AC2 a 5/10. Nice scenery, Assassin's Tombs were really cool, but it wasn't much more than a glorified button-masher. The puzzling elements were kind of an afterthought, missions had a rinse-repeat feel to them, money was way too easy to aquire, armour upgrades kinda pointless since the game was so easy-mode and I had no desire to complete any of the side-missions or extras. Hopefully I can trade Red Dead Redemption and AC2 for something I'd enjoy more.
I have not played any of the AC games. I never really thought I was into action-adventure games, but I had so much fun with the Batman Arkham games that I figured I'd branch out to see if I'd like more. Do I need to start with the first AC or can I start with AC II?
Stay away from AC1. The story is good and all, but the gameplay is painfully repetetive and boring, and generally sucks a.ss. AC2 is amazing. I recommend you read up a little on the story of AC1 and then jump straight to and play AC2.
Thanks for the info. I was already kind of leaning that way anyway, so I'm glad to hear that it is probably the best route.
