    My thoughts:

    • Some of the players should really retire. Thanks for all the happiness you brought to us in 2007 but now it's time for the youth to take over. Others should stay until we have good replacements for them.

    • Please, IFA, keep Sidka as a coach. Really think he can do something if you give him the time.

    • Again, IFA, use the FIFA match days and play with young players from the Iraqi League. Ahmad Ibrahim has shown us that we have talent there. Don't ignore it.

Yeah, I'm hoping IFA finally is a bit generous and lets Sidka stay as manager.

I think they should call up Amjad Kalaf, he's playing very well for Al-Shurta.

ولفت رئيس الاتحاد العراقي لكرة القدم إلى أن "تغيرات ستطرأ على المنتخب العراقي في المستقبل كون غالبية لاعبيه على وشك الاعتزال".

Bald statemant there Mr. IFa president, but talking is cheap let us see some action.

اهم شي انخلص من حسين سعيد
By the way does anyone know when is the new date for the ifa elections now?
And yes I agree some of the older players should make way for the younger ones, in my eyes younis, hawar and emads times are up and maybe even basem and qusay although I think basem and qusay can still produce as we saw in this Asian cup.

    Change of format ?

Jordan FA report that they play Kuwait on 26. March and North Korea on 29. March in Sharjah.

Maybe Iraq play North Korea on 26. March and Kuwait on 29. March ?

Btw, goalzz (http://goalzz.com/main.aspx?region=-6&team=305) says Alaa Abdul-Zahra scored both goals but wikipedia says karrar scored the first and Hawar scored the 2nd. Can anyone confirm the true scorers?
