    FT jordan 4-1 Iraq

really bad game, for a coach even its his first time and no experience with players he cannot lose to jordan 4-1

its impossible for iraq to lose to them like this,

Spot on. No Iraqi side should ever lose 4-1 to Jordan, that's embarassing.

Ok, coaches first game. He probably didn't really know what to expect, but 4-1 against a Jordan team that isn't really reknowned for scoring many games in games.

To rub it in, Jordan are managed by an Iraqi.

Sidka has much to do to get the confidence going in this Iraqi team. Oman are coming up next quickly followed by the WAFF Championship, so I do expect that the Oman game will be a struggle with Sidka still trying to find his feet and getting to know the players over the next 5 days.

WAFF Championship will be much harder. Yemen are currently in the form of there lifes and would probably fancy there chances at this moment in time. Palestine are an unknown quantity, but by the time they play them Sidka could ahve packed his bags already.

Yes, it's always hard for a new coach, esepcially a foreign one managing national team such as Iraq when it's hard to see the domestic games and the players, but, you start things slowly. You keep a tight defence and build up confidence, leaking 4 goals against a average team isn't really acceptable.

On goalzz, it says that we're playing Qatar on the 10/08 but now you say we're playing India on 10/08! Which one is true?

poor result, especially for sidka, just his first game. we should be beating teams like Jordan, whatever manager we have. we must beat oman to get some confidence for waff.

IFA said they'll travel to India to play the match on October 8, so the second game against Qatar was postponed to Oct 12. However, the Indian FA, has not confirmed the match yet. Qatar also has a friendly scheduled on October 12.

I hope IFA didn't miscalculate anything.

Re: Friendlies vs. Jordan (16/9) and Oman (21/9) [R]

Funnily enough, Yemen is the most prepared team in Group C at the WAFF but they are the least talented and they haven't won away from home in over four years. It will be an interesting group Yemen and Palestine have never met before and both teams will be hoping to get maximum points from that game. I expected Iraq to cruise through this group, and I stand by that assertion there might be some inexperience in defence and up front but the midfield is occupied by the likes of Hawar, Nashat, and other Asian Cup winners.

I would like to think that Palestine has a chance of getting something out of the Iraq game but we have drawn our last three internationals and stretching back to late 2008 we've lost twice against you guys and China (with a very, very weakened squad) and once to FC Brussels. We've played Jordan, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Gencerbirligi, Terek Grozny, UAE, Dynamo Moscow, Sudan, and Mauritania. Hopefully a win against Yemen and a draw against you guys sees us through.

To be honest, I think the group is very balanced now. The squad Sidka has chosen is average at best, Hawar and Nashat have passed their zenith, are currently without a club and Nashat was beyond terrible against Jordan.

    Full-Time:

    Iraq 3-2 Oman

Iraq scorers were Samal Saeed, Nashat Akram and Ahmad Mnajid. Samal Saeed's goal was an amazing bicycle kick, please could someone post the goal? We were 1-0 down at half-time, so good comeback. But still we let in two goals, we need to improve our defence.

I was told that the match wasn't broad casted, so how could you see the goals? and if you have them could you but them on Youtube
