USA-Mexico. I'm a country guy, a USA fan, and it's now one of the top national team derbies in the world. What I wouldn't have given to be at Jeonju.

    Man that sh!t annoying.
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    Galatasaray v Fenerbahce SK, what a derby! ;) j/k

    MLS: Burn v Fire
    EPL: ManUre v Gooners
    La Liga: Barca v Real
Scudetto: AC Milan v Inter Milan
    SPL: Celtic v Rangers
Bundesliga: B. Munchen v Bayer Leverkusen
    MFL: Americacrap v Chigoatlovers

But if I had to choose I’d go w/ Barca v Real, even tho AC v Inter is prob the best cross town rivalry in the world.

PSG v Marseille, Parc des Princes...although it hasn't been much of a rivalry lately.

In lieu of that, Barcelona v Madrid at the Camp Nou.

Marinate on this for a few...

From the Tom Joyner Morning Show:

"Why is it that when a bunch of naked Iraquis find there way onto the front page, every White Man in Washington is quick to apologize but Black people STILL can't get an apology for slavery?

You had Black people swinging from trees in the South but no one's apologizing for that!!!!"

Can't believe I forgot that one- a very common occurrence, obviously. I think that's happened to all of us more than once or twice.

    Barca- Real
    Boca-River
    Celtic-Rangers
    USA-Mexico

Is it me, or does anyone else have a hard time getting on BS these days because the server is too busy? That has drastically cut down on my appearances recently.

House, as a lawyer, I wonder why you think the justice department just reopened the Emmitt Till murder case. You think they have some unprosecuted people still alive who haven't been dealt any justice, or is it a kind of feel good p.r. thing to get some critics off their backs? I think there are probably still a lot of unsolved lynchings, many that will never see justice because the perps are long dead, as well as any witnesses or people who knew anything about them. Still, I guess it's pretty good news that the feds think the Till case still deserves some attention, resources, etc. and that they're not letting living people who are culpable walk away unscathed.

Also to House -- finally got the Kem CD "Kemistry." Dude, that thing is so on fire. You know it's a good CD when you're jamming to the "non-hit" cuts on it, as well as "Love Calls" and that newer one that goes "It's just a matter of time" (forget the title). I'd love to see him live, though, although I did catch him on Soul Train recently -- I guess even the thugged out, bump and grind younger generation needs to slow it down every now and then.

And a final note on R&B -- I just saw that Whitehead of the duo McFadden & Whitehead was shot to death in Philly. Anybody read this?
"Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" is still a classic jam from that era, like "We Are Family" and "I Got My Mind Made Up". R.I.P.

Well, now that that guy from Philly got brutally executed in Iraq, I think no one in America is going to be in a mood to apologize for a while. I think we're going to see the revenge instinct come out strong and anyone who talks about Abu Gharib (?) is going to branded "traitor", "appeaser", etc.
