It just cam out of nowhere! It sucks because I can't get a lot Asics that is offered in Japan at the shop I work at in the US. I wish they offered more!
derbyyank13, u shud go for the asics C3 or asics 2002 > the best thus far.... maybe the x-fly is worth the effort n $ the rest....well, might disappoint
I ordered the x-fly for my store. We do pretty well with them. Very tempted with those. Also, those 2002 models look fantastic. Love the old school tongue!!!!!
My ds light x flys came in today but i dont know how to upload them to show you guys Also i found it suprising to see that these were made in vietnam where the older models were made in indonesia or somewhere else
So far they are amazing , the unique inner sole is something i need to get use to though , ever since i started wearing them my knees have felt abit odd , not sure if it is the inner sole or just coincidence that my knees are feeling weird. Haha
Anyone had any experience with the asics lethal tigreors? New model looks pretty decent: http://www.sportyshoes.com.au/images/P/tigreor black.png
what do you mean by unique inner sole? I do, but these are a pretty different model. Don't remember any Lethal Tigreor's having the Gel cushioning in it at all.
I need some advice, i was just goofing around the forums when i stumbled upon this thread which somehow landed me at ratuken global website and ended up at the x-fly pages. I have no idea how the sizing of the x-fly goes and i was wondering what size would fit me if i am a size 10.5 us in the puma kings 2013. BTW, the sizing goes by cm and i have no idea what size would fit me and i need some advice, thanks.
@serginhobertholi hey thanks for the advice, but i need the exact sizings in cm as i have no idea. i have looked up size conversion tables but different size tables have different parameters.
dam on the x-fly 2 they have extended the stitching to the front of the boot. the ability to lould to your foot at the front will be limited now. Im not a fan of stitch at the front of boots due to me having long toes. guys who have the x-fly 1's. is it just my japan made one or does this boot absorb ALOT of water? when i first got these i went to the park and had a run around and it started raining. My socks was sooo wet after. The japan version has a matt finish where the european version has a gloss finish. Maybe this is why.
my feet measure in cm 27.7cm. i always go for 28cm. but for some strange reason the japan made asics 28cm fits like a 28.5cm or even 29cm. i was in japan in december and got my feet measured and the x-fly was the best suited boot for my foot type (the machine measures width and length of feet sooo cool). i had to go for the 27.5cm to get a fit which was true to 28cm. im not sure what size your feet are so its tricky. i bought the asics ds light genio 1 years back and had the same problem. sadly i had to sell them with out even being able to wear these sexy boots. this link proves my point http://shoesizeconverters.com/asics.php and this is from asics america http://www.asicsamerica.com/shoe-size-guide. the 28cm says 9uk but 28.5cm jumps to 10uk. from "my experience" with japan made asics boots this chart shows there is a gray area in this part of the sizing. this is only for japan made asics boots as i bought the testimonial 2 and the 28cm was to tight that i again had to sell them. mizuno is very consistent with sizing a 28cm is a 28cm.
