    great!

looking forward to the new releases for SS 09

i'd just completed a match on Sun with the DS Light Genio.....it was an artificial pitch/turf....i'd say a 9/10.....the forefoot does stretched a little....so, will wear a little thicker socks the next time round.....ZERO break-in time.....100% no blister whatsoever....i could hardly feel the studs, even on these conditions

    another highly recommended boots

now.....the new lethal tigrerors n testimonial!

both have been on sale on ebay. the new testimonials look like cricket shoes a little. and the new tigreors looks real fancy.... can you still help me find a pair of k leather tigreors for cheap? or are they still full price?

hello can someone post a list with the whole model range from the asics boots? I mean like adidas has the history about the predator 1,2,3..., there will be also a history about the asics tigreor and the other top model of the asics range.

well, as far as i can gather:

testimonial FG (up to spring 2009, europe)
lethal testimonial IT (may '09, so far only seen in australia + NZ)
tigreor IT (2002-2006 in japan + europe)
    lethal tigreor IT (2007 - 2008 japan + europe)
    DS lethal IT (2007 - 2008 japan + europe)
lethal tigreor IT 2 (spring 2009 in japan, europe will hv a different outsole structure)
ds light (since 2002, i think.....only the 1st n' 2nd generation were released in Europe, the present range is only in japan)

    [japan only]
    ds light genio (2008 - 2009)
    C3 (2009)
    etc.....

nonetheless, i may not hv got it all covered.....there are many models exclusive for japan domestic market in particular and a few mid-range releases in Italy

    it's from an online shop:

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/sportsguide/554524/582074/#1504744

send an email to Mitsumasa Nobe-san
    mnobe@sportsguide.jp

stating the size you want in cm ie. if u r on uk7.0 in the lethal tigreor it, then it's 26.0cm

guide: similar fitting as the lethal tigreor IT tho' the forefoot/toe box is slightly tighter/snug......or even the nike legend to some great extent (i don't hv the legend but havng tried it on in the shop, it's a uk6.5 us7.5 25.5cm)

one thing about the US n' EU measurement, it's 0.5 down but the cm measurement remains the same.....i couldn't fully comprehend

if you want more details of the boot, go to :
    http://search.borderless.rakuten.co...+c3&sp.l=en&sp.pf=&sp.pt=&sp.tt=&sp.tl=302254

the shop i recommend abv offers the best price and they ship intl via EMS, payment via PayPal

all the best......i doubt u'll regret hvg the C3!

    cheers

How do I order shoes from Rakuten. I live in the United States and want to order a pair of the C3 Asics boot in size 8.5 US.

I have a pair of the Tigreor in size 8 US, I think that the C3 will fit differently than the C3, which are made of K leather

    Please advise

    thanks

    msesar,

follow my instructions as per thread #65

which tigreor r u having? is it the lethal tigreor IT (blades soleplate, 2007 - 2008) or tigreor IT (small multistuds soleplate, 2005 - 2006)?

C3 has similar fitting as the lethal tigreor IT (ie. order same size)

but compared to tigreor IT (the one with small multi-studs, not blades as the lethal), then order 0.5 size bigger

    US8 = 27.0cm for the tigreors, so US8.5 = 27.5cm

C3 has a tighter toe box, but both tigreor and C3 has a Standard last, according to asics specs

    Rangersfan1,
it's slightly wider than the testimonial or copa or legend.....i think very much like the puma king top di

    msesar,

    ok, this mean it's a uk7 = 26.0cm

    so, u shd order a 26.5cm ie. uk7.5 us8.5 on the C3

btw, the tigreor tht u post is one of the very best....comfortable, good fit, so so light and stable on most good pitches

i also hv it but in the blue/white ....just luv it!

all the best in your order

do you know any place where i can get those old tigreor's?
I just sold mine cuz it was too small for me.
i need US8.5 on those but it seems like they are sold out everywhere.

I checked ebays of all countries, rakuten, and some japanese web malls.
only place i could find them was ebay but it was not my size.

I remember some web malls overseas like australia or nzland had them,
but i dont know if they still do.

    Kiongsm,

I was wondering if you could post a short description of the Asics line. Next to Mizuno, it's the brand that I'm very curious about but I'm very confused by all the different models. I have no idea if they're kangaroo, calf, synthetic, mixed, etc. The fact that they seem to have very similar names only adds to the confusion. I'd really appreciate if you explained the differences. Thanks.

    i'll try my best:

tigreor IT (2002-2006 in japan + europe)
    > this in microfiber, no K-leather version
    > sorry, no longer in productions

    lethal tigreor IT (2007 - 2008 japan + europe)
    > european release is in microfibre
    > in japan, they hv both.....K-leder is the LE, the other one is microfibre

    DS lethal IT (2007 - 2008 japan + europe)
    > europe release in microfibre
    > japan release 2009 is the latest (check out the rakuten intl site), in k-leder + microfibre

lethal tigreor IT 2 (spring 2009 in japan, europe will hv a different outsole structure)
ds light (since 2002, i think.....only the 1st n' 2nd generation were released in Europe, the present range is only in japan)
    > those in japan has k-leder forefoot + microfibre
    > not sure abt europe release, i suspect microfibre

    [japan only]
    ds light genio (2008 - 2009)
    > K-leder forefoot + microfibre

    C3 (2009)
    > 100% K-leder.....Go for it! Top of the cream!

yeah, japan has too many models....usually top range were priced abv 12,000 yen...those more than 16,000 are usually K-leder

    mid-ranges could hv a combination of cow-hide/calf + microfiber

lower range/entry levels are all microfibre

    pretty much similar to mizuno......

all the best in your search

i hope the abv helps :)

    cheers
