    oh, i c.....

yeah, i got the asics C3 from sportsguide online shop

the insoles are like the asics tigreor it model 2005/6
suede surface, but with some plastic/rubber kinda lining

the heel/ankle lining is soft n' thin, has a matte surface, not those glossy/shining smooth

the forefoot is pretty much like the copa mundial/diadora brasil md/morelia

doesn't look like they made any changes

not sure if they say they have k leather or not, the google translator's kind of screwy because it said it was synthetic, and then put k leather in parentheses

thanks for your pics my friend.
    they look so nice.
i'm definitely getting C3 over Adipure JP.
just thinking whether to get white or black ones.
I like white ones better, but leather quality looks much better in black ones.

how's the sizing? compared to other popular boots like abs or legend.

    u r most welcome

for me, i prefer black n wht boots, wht boots eventually turns yellowish/brownish

sizing is pretty much similar to the legend......and shd also be same as the DS Light Genio

    ie. it's uk6.5 jp25.5 for me on legend n' C3

[i don't hv the legend but has tried it on in the shop]

regarding the sizing, the label inside the tongue shows JP25.5 US6.5 EU39.5 (which is very different from the lethal tigreor IT (jp25.5 eu40 us7.5)

    just follow the JP measurement

for my case, i wear jp25.5 in both the lethal tigreor IT n' C3

as specified, the toe box/forefoot is very very snug

from what i heard, genio runs half size bigger(thus genio 260 = other 265).
so i ordered 260 while i wear 265 in most cleats. hm......

    a bit confusing here. haha.
i dont want to buy a pair of shoes oversea that wouldnt fit me.
it's still good that we got way to buy japan made cleats here,
but it's kinda hard cuz of sizing problem. right?

i have been playing a lot of indoor (futsal) so i ordered a pair of asics indoor boots from the japan site. they are all black and called calcetto LE2. they look nice and light, made of kangaroo leather.

anyway, i finally received genios from japan.
havent taken pics yet cuz weather's so bad here.
    light is so important...haha

they are very light and somewhat wide.
    shoes are very comfortable.
though these are very great boots,
people said so many good things about them,
so i might have expected too much.

    as far as sizing,
i normally wear 265, but ordered 260 in genios
cuz people told me to go half size down.
now i think its very tight. not that it's small, but very tight.

i will post pics here soon.

    New Asics tigreor?

    Hello!
New member and first time poster.
I'm writing beacuse I wonder if anyone has any more info about these boots?
I saw them on ebay the other day and they were described as a soccer boot but I've never seen them before.
I'm playing in the blue tigreors today and i'm looking to upgrade.
    They're gone today though.
Maybe just a preview or trial model that never made it through?
Both the FG and SG version were US 8,5 and I'm pretty sure that's standard for prototypeshoes.

    Anywho..

    Any ideas?

    Looks so good.

    Re: New Asics tigreor?

    Great find!

it's the new lethal tigreor 2009 release

    check out:
    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/sportsguide/554524/582074/#1507619

    http://search.borderless.rakuten.co...eor&sp.l=en&sp.pf=&sp.pt=&sp.tt=&sp.tl=402099

in japan they released the lethal tigreor IT 2 in white blue red

i believed the one you r refering to abv is a european release which has a different outsole which in japan the classified as RS a mid-range boot....the sole has a combination of conical and oval shaped little studs which is excellent for hard, dry n' short grass pitches

may i ask which ebay site you found it?

can paste the link in your reply?

    does the SG comes in 4 X 2 or 6 X 2 studs configurations?

in my previous thread, i mentioned a new release of the classic Gel Testimonial 2 IT which has a same sole as the one you found
    http://www.runnersshop.com.au/store/prod49.htm

    thanks

I found it at firehouse sportz on ebay.com.

    [IMG]http://stores.ebay.com/Firehouse-Sportz

    But it's gone today though.
Can't remember how many studs the SG version had, sorry.
    It's looking class though!
Kinda looks like the Puma v1.08.
And in the picture it seems like they made the tongue a bit smaller which is always nice.

Maybe we can hope for an official release this fall?

I'm trying to find that Gel-testimonial 2 IT you we're talking about, but it seems to only be available in Australia and New Zealand so far..
Sad, cause it looks just like the kind of boot i'm looking for...
I've even overcome the horrible tongue..

So, if anyones interested, i've made some research about the Lethal Testimonial 2 IT that kiongsm found a few posts back.

    Here's what I found:

    * According to Asics Australia, they are at least in part designed in Oz (as he claims alot of internationally sold soccerboots are). He also says that they often run styles and have stock in boot's you can't find elsewhere.

    * I also contacted Asics UK and they say that the model will be made available there from the middle of may in Great Britain through various resellers.

    * According to two different sources (Asics Australia and Rebelsport.com.au customer service) they run about half a size bigger than the Lethal Tigreors. Asics Australia claimed that they are built on a different last.
Asics UK however claimed that the sizing should be very similar to the Lethal Tigreors.
Who to trust? I don't know.

That is what I found out with my digging.
So now I'm thinking if i should order a pair from Australia right away or wait a month and a half since it's easier to return a faulty size to the UK (since i live in Sweden).
My heart says Australia, but my head says UK. :D

Does anyone have any idea about the sizing? Have you tried on this specific boot or any other Asics with this new moulded outsole?

    Cheers
    Stefan

    hi stefan,

    great findings n' info

i also got some feedback from asics NZ:
Regarding width and fit - The Testimonial is manufactured on a slightly narrower 'last' which means there will not be as much room in the forefoot as in the Tigreor.

my current sizing in asics boots:
    tigreor IT (2006/2007 release) = UK6.0 US7.0 JP25.0
    lethal tigreor IT 2008 release = UK6.5 US7.5 JP25.5
asics C3 (japan only release 2009) = JP25.5 (no UK sizing on the label)
    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/sportsguide/554524/582074/#1504744
ds light genio (japan only release 2009) = JP25.5
    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/sportsguide/554524/582074/#1500964

in view of the uncertainty, i would suggest you wait for the UK release (i suppose it'll be available in prodirectsoccer).....with the weak sterling GBP, it might be cheaper for you.

    cheers

got a pair of gunmetal tigreors, took forever to ship from Australia but they're off the hook

I've been using vapors for a while, have the 4s, 3s, Sls, along with preds, t90s, legends, and I have to say that these were the most comfortable BY FAR right out of the box. Better than running shoes.

    I agree.
My blue tigreors are by far the most comfortable boots out of the box. No blisters at all!

I e-mailed Asics UK about the new tigreors I found one or two pages back, and they said that they will be available in the UK in may.

So, the question is. Testimonial 2's or the new tigreors? :D Tough choice!

(I decided to wait for the UK-releases. So ordering from australia is no longer an option for me.)
