Wow, I didint saw this add.

Why They dont use their Senior Squad vs Galatasaray and Everton for this tournament?

Is that mean, this tournament is not an interesthing for audience(fans) and Country's FA.

It seems, Its a bit out of respect against to Everton and Galatasaray?.

Only galatasaray cancelled the trip. From Turkey media they said that the match fee is not good enough, while from Indonesia Media it is said that Galatsaray have trouble to get the ticket flights from Austria. Galatsaray Out, and will be replaced by Uruguay Selection/Uruguay Club.

Dont believe what it says in Turkey media.

The truth is as what it wroted in Indonesia'n Media.
Duo to Flyght problem Galatasaray cant fly to the Indonesia.

Its pity, Galatasaray could atract lots of fans in this tournament, with their game style and star players etc.

Anyway, lets hope next year they can visit the Indonesia.

The Vietnam national mens football team will play a total of seven international friendly matches from September 11 to November 3, in preparation for the upcoming 2012 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup.

The matches will begin with a good challenge as Vietnam will face defiant champions Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on September 11 before taking on 2010 runners-up Indonesia in another friendly match in Jakarta four days later.
After playing the second-leg game against Indonesia at My Dinh National Stadium on September 22, the national team will clash with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Turkmenistan and U-22 Iran in the 2012 Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Cup from October 24 to 28.
Vietnam will wrap up its pre-AFF series of friendly matches with a second-leg battle against Malaysia on home field on November 3 before flying to Bangkok, Thailand on November 20 to attend the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012.
The 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup is slated to take place from November 24 to December 22 in Thailand and Malaysia.

Unperturbed by the fact that both Everton and Galatasary have cancelled their high profile trips to Jakarta for whatever rea$on the Indonesian FA, continuing a tradition going back many years, have announced a new batch of friendlies ahead of the ASEAN Football Federation Cup in November.

    04/08 v Valencia
    05/09 v Espanyol B
    08/09 v North Korea
    15/09 v Philippines
    22/09 v Vietnam (A)

There is also talk about a Merdeka Cup in November.

In this article, it looks like Indonesia moved their friendlies with Vietnam to a different date to accomodate a possible friendly game against the Philippines. Is 9/15 a FIFA match date?

FIFA match dates in September are 7. - 11. September.

Philippines is scheduled to play Cambodia on 7. September , possibly Laos on 9. September , but Pakistan want to play Philippines on 11. September.

I will try to find out from the Vietnames if their friendlies against Indonesia been moved.
