The embattled A League with all its growing pains and alleged mismanagement is still our instrument for developing our international game. FFA have FIFA endorsement and that means we can submit teams in the AFC and World Cup. The touted FA will need to prove itself to FIFA before it can compete on the world stage. Talk comes cheap, even for Millionaires. GO BRISBANE!

And after all of that- the Roar get beaten convincingly and Adelaide get a win.

    Brisbane no match for Tokyo

So Brisbane lost to Tokyo. Japan have a virile and cogent strategy for succes in the World Cup. They are our most challenging opponents in the AFC and FIFA World Cup. Losing to Tokyo FC is all part of the road to 2014 for Australian Soccer

Adelaide get a good 2-0 win over Gamba and Brisbane come from behind to draw 1-1 in Beijing overnight.

Brisbane aren't just frustrating to watch in the A-League. Really should have won against Ulsan but it's that final touch as always. Oh well, good effort with 10 men.

Crowd was terrible. What's going on with that?

Roar lose 2-1 at home to Ulsan.

Coast get pumped 5-0 away to Seongnam.

And Adelaide, second last in the A-League keep the Aussie flag flying with a 1-0 win at home against Pohang.
