Have you seen him play this year? He has been 100 times more impressive than any Roma midfielder this season (with the exception of De Rossi sometimes).

If I was Roma, I'd try to trade Cassano for Mutu. If they can't get Mutu, just use the money to buy Mauro Esposito from Cagliari. He's 100 times better than Langella, he's younger, and is a great wing forward.

True, Esposito is better but Langella wants a Roma move. I'm not sure if Mauro would walk over just yet.

Esposito has already pledged his allegiance to Roma. He said he would love to play with Totti.

Yes, I read the same thing and Langella has tailed way off after a good start. Esposito is a much better choice. I'm starting to think Roma should keep Cassano. His playmaking ability is starting to come out. With someone like Pizzaro and/or Ze Roberto there to get him and Totti the ball, they could then feed Montella or take it themselves. That would be a great offense.

Roma's front office only has enough money to keep either Totti or Cassano. Cassano wants 3 million Euro's a year, with 4 million coming his way in the 5th year.

Since Mozart is going to Juve, Roma should go after Pizzaro. This man is a monster on the pitch.

Exchange Zambrotta for Mutu and then you'd have a straight up deal worth something to both sides.

I was suggesting a Cassano for Zambrotta exchange, instead of a Cassano for Mutu deal. I wouldn't swap Cassano for Mutu straight up. Zambrotta for Cassano is a whole different deal for Roma and Juve. I think it works out well for both sides. Just a thought.

Roma's big problem is in defense. Ferrari, Pannucci,
Pelizzoli, and even Dellas can go. Chivu and Mexes are
strong defenders; add, say, Zaccardo and Parisi and
you have a serious backline. I like Curci, by the way.

Our forwards are gold; perhaps one or two tough,
experienced midfielders and we'd have a serious team.
I loved the suggestion of Mozart, by the way; good
player, and I imagine he'd work well with Totti.

depressing - most depressing! is the season over now? I can't take the suffering anymore.

Our team needs creative mid-fielders and why the hell did we sign Montella... I've said it from the beginning he is useless. The only reason Montella is leading the score sheets is because he's got a guy named Totti behind him and with the support of Cassano! On his own he's completely useless and a waste of money!!!

Get rid of Dacourt - a bonehead!

That's 2 games now we've lost our game..... I can't take the suffering anymore!!! Please tell me some good news is on its way - or else I'll bite my finger off.

    lets talk!

I can't believe Roma lost today. They completely owned Reggina all over the park in the first half...and then let the game slip. Pure foolishness.

Cassano was a disgrace today. We won't be able to afford both he and Totti next season, so I am greatful that I won't have to go through this frustation with that potential-loaded knothead anymore (until WC 06). We aren't going to qualify for UEFA Cup next year, are we?

Cassano wasn't as bad as Montella though. Both wasted golden chances. Cassano had that amazing run with Totti.

Montella is one of those strikers who is only as good as the guys feeding him the ball. When they get him the ball, he delivers and does so consistently. However, he doesn't have many people right now who can get him the ball. However, he has no dribbling ability and he's caught offsides at least 5 times a match. It's amazing he has 20 goals. With good midfielders and Totti, he could look very good.

Are you kidding me? He is one of the most talented dribblers and has such great moves...

I should have said not a good player at moving the ball upfield. His in close dribbling is pretty good. I was getting more at the point that he is not very good outside the penalty area where he usually is easily marked and loses the ball.
