    Vucinic: quite possible
    Chevanton: also possible
    Iaquinta: probably

Messi: no money in the world could buy him unless someone buys out his 100 million buy out clause
Pizzaro: No, Veron is leaving after this season

There's speculation that Milan will give Roma Abbiati and young talent Pasquale Foggia this summer for Chivu.

Chivu to Madrid looking good :p I think Madrid already sent an agent (Zoran Vekic) to Italy to speak to the club and negotiations are going well. There were rumours that the heads of the clubs had a meeting last monday but it could not be confirmed. MARCA did confirm that Chivu's agent welcomes Madrid's bid

Spanish Article- use babelfish or something

Is he really worth 20 mill euros? I hope that includes his buyout claus. Does he get along with Cassano?

I would hate to see us sell Chivu but we knew the bigger clubs were going to come for him. I'm surprised it took this long.

On the buying front, I really think we should make a run for Rui Costa. I wish we would have done this before the ban was announced (around the time we bought Taddei). I can't see that he's happy sitting on the bench, playing 5 minutes here or there. Take care.

It's already speculated that Rui will go back to Benfica this summer.

The fact is that we may need a better keeper. I agree with Spaletti on most of his decisions but he seems determined to keep playing Doni. Curci could be the solution, but if he can only get to his potential if he is our first choice. I think he's only losing confidence by not being played in place of Doni.

So if Spaletti wants to make Curci our no. 1 that would be great, we would'nt have to shell out enough euros for a replacement.

But frankly we cannot continue like this.

    read below :

Vinnie and Mirko playing for Roma - good possibility and good choices.

    lets talk.

Doni is playing hard to get and has refused Roma's first offer to renew his contract. Supposedly Barcelona are interested in him. If I were Roma I'd just let this clown go and buy a new 'keeper this summer.

I would prefer Vucinic than Iaquinta...

Chevanton and Vucinic... that would be a combination.

    lets talk.

Just out of curiosity, what's the deal with Mido? I am unfamiliar with his loan deal, is coming back next season?

We're going to sell him for as much as we can. Those ******* Spurs look to be the best bet of where he'll end up.

That's sort of what I was thinking. I imagine he'll bring a pretty good price too. But he does have some nice skills up top.

Vucinic would be my top option too. He is wonderful with the ball
at his feet and in the air. He has a good touch and would score
many goals with players like Totti, Mancini, and Taddei feeding
    him the ball.

Anyone know of a deal on any goalkeeper?

I really do think Curci should be Roma's future GK, Doni is terrible, he may come out with some good saves but he tries to make every save look like a kodak moment and has no ability to determine when to come out and when not to. His timing is terrible too, overall if not for a cohesive defense (which we lacked in the beginning of the year) Doni would be embarassed every game. I like the idea of getting Abbiati, but I wouldn't trade Chivu, he is an awesome defender and Roma need him.

Did anyone see that slight buzz that Henry was interested in Roma, we'd have to sell half of our team to get him, but Totti and Henry would just be insane. I couldn't think of a more dangerous combo. It makes me shiver.

I really like the options that our youth is giving us, like bovo, aquilani, and rosi, they're really developing into good players, and if they can develop like De Rossi has, watch out for Roma.

If we get a good striker this summer, not Iaquinta, sorry, but he hasn't really done much since his hat-trick in CL, someone like vucinic would be great, although id like to see a taller and stronger forward. A good midfielder too to combine with Totti would be great for the team, Taddei is doing well but I think we could use someone else. Just my thoughts...
