olympics are one thing, euros are another. i was simply stating my opinion that due to the timing of the euros, none of those players (players who play in the euros) should be unavailable for the american tour.
Any word on the Chicago fixture yet? I'm trying to plan a vacation to Chicago around this and would like to know who the opponent will be.
According to this the Roma game in Chicago is finalized. They will play the top Polish club Zaglebie Lubin at Wrigley field. http://www.chicagolandsoccernews.com/article.php?article_id=10427
http://www.bigapplesoccer.com/article.php?article_id=30326 NY is finalized. Roma will be playing in Mets Stadium in Queens, opponent TBA
I actually haven't been to the new Mets stadium. I've been to their old home, Shea stadium, plenty of times but I haven't been to a ball game in a few years.
shakeshack is so overpriced =\ i don't mind paying for expensive burgers, but they'd have to be worth my money. houston's grill on park ave and burger shaq in sheepshead bay have burgers that cost about 10$ each, but they're totally worth it
schnix I work on willoughby st in downtown bk. I pay 5 bux for a regular shack burger w cheese it's small but not too bad
yeah, shake shacks are considered cheap depending where you are. my gf works at world financial ctr, and the only casual place we can afford there is shake shack. but i'd rather pay a little more and actually feel satisfied
NYC opponent will be America de Cali (Colombia). http://www.ilromanista.it/le-ultime-dai-campi/3336-lamerica-scopre-il-giallorosso.html
hmmmmm.... so my choices are either drive 4 hrs to bastan and watch roma play a better team (where they'll probably lose), or take the train 10 minutes from where i work to watch them play a crappy south american team (watch them lose, like they did vs branislava )
Man I would love to see them playing in NY, but I'm not sure if it's worth a $100+ to see them play some random team. Roma supposedly want to take advantage of the American market, yet play some team that has no draw in the biggest city in the US.
Colombianas are hot and that's worth the price of admission in my book. If it was Fiorentina against Cali I'd be all over it.
Not as random of a team though.. They are one of South America's biggest teams, although facing the same fate as River Plate right now. The team has the most stars in Colombian League and has made it to Copa Libertadoes final 4 times
