    Leverkusen bought a really good prospect.

    The team has had players of great caliber Ballack, Lucio, and Juan to name three. Landon Donovan even spent some time there, but never had any success.

    Lo contrataron para hacerlo jugar de defensa central, según lo que dijo un dirigente del Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

    Eso me preocupa un poco, ya que Vidal desde fines del 2006 que dejó de jugar de líbero, y se ha desempeñado tanto como volante izquierdo, como volante defensivo, y como lateral izquierdo.

    Vidal es un excelente futbolista.
    Pero tiene un serio déficit en la "parte alta":rolleyes: :mad:

    Pongo esto como un post aparte. Vidal actuo como un niño mimado todo el partido y la verdad no soporto esa actitud. :mad:

    Independiente si el arbitro no le cobra lo que el desea debe cerrar la boca y jugar.

    Esa actitud se le va a acabar bien rapido en Alemania. :cool:

    Necesitamos un Entrenador que limpie nuestro futbol de los piscinasos y el teatro; tanto show me da verguenza. Los Argentinos han limpiado mucho su futbol y debemos reconocer que nos falta en este aspecto.

    Tan limpio es el futbol argentino que hay casi un muerto todos los fines de semana alla. Fuera de los piscinazos que estan a la orden del dia en tal competencia. Super limpio! :)

    Al margen de eso ;) si Vidal necesita ajustar su actitud.

    vidal es el que manoteaba y estaba en desacuerdo en cada pitazo del arbitro? se le olvida quien es la autoridad de la cancha? eso es cosa del tecnico y la actitud del equipo se debe reflejar en Sulantay, el debe calmar animos o pedir que sean exigentes con el arbitro...es cosa de camerino que no sabremos nunca.

    Vidal es el que tenia el pelo muy pegado y medio peinado mohican? si es ese, lo segui todo el partido de la desgracia y estaba muy caliente y salido de casillas, eso si lleno de energia y calidad que no supo encaminar positivamente. el Otro que no salva de ese cargo e s Currimila (esos dos entreron bravos!)

    Vidal cuando quiere puede ser muy "pesado" y debería aprender a explotar eso de la misma forma que lo hizo Marco Materazzi en la final del mundial 2006.

    Creo que Vidal tiene mucho que aprender todavia aunque nadie discute su capacidad como jugador. En alemania, si no mejor su actitud, no va durar mucho, ni va a triunfar. Le va a hacer bien el futbol aleman ya que va a tener que madurar y en el leverkusen no van a estar contento de haber pagado tanto dinero por un jugador que se pasa amurrando.

    Amigo Metro, me referia dentro de la cancha. Los Argentinos han limpiado bastante su juego y ahora somos nosotros los sucios. Debemos reconocerlo si deseamos mejorar.

    Vidal lost this afternoon with Bayer Leverkusen by a score of 1-0 against Hamburg. The good news is that he was part of the starting eleven. The bad news is that he committed the handball that cost them the goal, and was eventually substituted 2 minutes later.

    To be honest he didn't play bad at all. There were a few plays in which the Dutch winger from Hamburg gave him a hard time (Vidal wasn't fast enough to keep up with him) but he had an overall good performance in the first half. He seemed solid and really into the game.

    The penalty kick felt like one of those things that could only happen to Chilean players. He clearly touched the ball unintentionally but the handball was so evident (and there had been a handball earlier in the game that the ref didn't call) that the ref felt compelled to call it. I think the DT decided to take him off because Vidal obviously seemed affected by the play.

    It was just a bad game for him. Fortune was not on his side that day.

    I haven't had a chance to watch him much yet with Bayer 04. Is he played as a central defender or as a central midfielder?
