We're beginning to get goals off rebounds, something that happened very rarely for over a year. It's amazing what can happen when you have more than one player in the box.

Ok so Sagna has now initiated head-to-head contact with Glen twice, now Glen may be hurt. How is Sagna not on a yellow for that.

Need to be steady now. Lucas and Gerrard need to get on the ball and take the sting out.

But anyways both teams look really sloppy in the back. Hopefully we grab the next goal.

    Wilshere getting too much space.

Ok that's another one from Sagna. He's starting to p1ss me off with these wild attempts at winning headers. It's ok to be aggressive in the air, but make the contact with your body, not the head. He's going to give someone a concussion.

Arsenal are pressuring us, and our best idea is to turn around and hit to Pepe.
We need to get some possession.

Huge goalline clearance from Podolski, saved Arsenal from going down 2. Then on the counter Podolski tries to jump over Wisdom and pulls him down, easy foul call lmao.

This has been a great battle between Wilshere and Gerrard.

Great opportunity to break out is ruined by Downings run inside - does he honestly think he is going to outrun Gibbs?
And Gibbs pulls up with his hammy - yet another injury for him. Oh how I hope Andre Santos comes in.

We give away possession easily in our half, ends with a strong header from Giroud, fortunately right at pepe.

Ever wonder why the traveling Kop is often louder than the crowd at Anfield?

Nice ball from Downing, really nice try from Henderson, that's a tough shot to make.

The scoreline should be exactly as it is. Nice to say that once in a while.

    1-0 at the half.
Need to keep possession!!!! That will be the deciding factor in whether we can hold onto this.
If Norwich/Spurs holds and our result holds, we'll only be 4 pts off 4th.

made to the half. Need to tighten up possession, but continue to look dangerous going forward.

Andre Santos is on. Chances will be created.

I'm happy to keep numbers back and draw Arsenal in/not have possession. Glad to see Carragher in there for this. This isn't a game where he's forced to cover a lot of ground. I'm more confident to have Walcott running at Carragher than at Skrtel.

So far, so good. We'll have to play better to hold on to the 3 points.
