Exactly what Lamb said. It really depends on how Walcott feels. If he wants to be a winger, then he is a winger. If striker, then he will move next to Giroud.
some people see the exact same lineup in different ways too. cazorla is sometimes seen as one of the midfield 3 in 433, sometimes he is seen as ahead of the 2 in 4231. there are times we play noticeably biased to one or the other as well.
True but I was referring to the old jokes on Walcott and how sometimes he plays striker even when he should not be.
I figured it was a typo so why not have some fun. Knowing our luck as of late, Gerv would get closed down where Neuer could have plenty of time to run to get a beer and bring it back to the pitch with him.
Every game I have watched arsenal (which is many). Always liked arsenal.. Gerv has sucked serious ass... I find myself pulling my hair out wondering how in gods green earth someone can miss a net so easily in such a consistent basis. Why haven't you guys got rid of him yet?? I think carzola and Walcott are great players.. I think they are too good for the inconsistency in some fellow players around them. Girourd is hit and miss Gerv..... Enough said Poldi is ok, but he's not very technical, but does work hard.. Wiltshire works very hard, have respect for him.. You gotta remember as slow as dvb, merte is even slower.. If he is one on one with either robbery then it's not gonna be good.. I think if arsenal has cheslki money things could be very different, unforunately that's football now.. I like arsenal but on this matchup they have to be my enemy
Probably one of those guys who in training will do better than Podolski or OX. That has to be the reason.
I think if you can keep a clean sheet you have much better odds in this series.. However of you concede a goal early it could be a long night.. I think it would be game over by the return leg. The key to your success is obviously 0 goals conceded and at least 1 home goal going into the return trip. Our key obviously would be to get a result at arsenal..,
i think we'll be doing a lot of defending and if that turns out to be the case we will have a lot of space to counter. i think we will have a few very good opportunities to score, but can we prevent bayern munich scoring? i think that's what will decide the tie: "will our defence hold up?"
It seems like counter attacks with quick flowing moves and lighting fast passes, are the only real way we can score. This methodical and mechanical possession crap is uncreative and generally leads us NOWHERE.
Bayern will have their homework done, unlike Arsenal they will have a plan and I expect them to stifle the majority of our counters. Besides Walcott is the only real option on the break and even then Cazorla hasnt proven to be the incisive through ball artist that we crave. If Cesc was running things I'd be a bit more optimistic.
Podolski can be a threat as well when he is fully fit from the counter (ala West Ham). Meanwhile dont talk about Cesc. It reminds me of that through-ball to Nasri who then passed it to Arshavin in that game that I am sure we all remember.
I dont think its all gloom It depends on the Arsenal that shows up I know Arsenal are capable of delivering on their good day though i hope Tuesday isnt one of them
Neuer has bruised his finger and will be playing with 9 fingers for the coming game.. and oh good luck ! may the best team (bayern) win
Yah ^ no one even knew about it till recently.. Apparently he was playing with 9 fingers for the Wolfsburg game.. They made a special glove to tape 2 fingers together.
Bayern Munich, brought to you by these important sponsors: http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/c....php?fcb_sid=ed0aec11115ba426831b41c6f68fb149
I like it. To be honest I would like it if my Arsenal jacket said "Arsenal Stadium" or "Ashburton Grove" instead of "Emirates Stadium" so that people would not think that I am trying to promote Emirates Airlines.
I'm not that scared of Bayern. They aren't any better than the teams we play in the league every year like City, Chelsea, and United. Dortmund were defending German champions last year when we played them in CL and they didn't give us too much trouble. The German league isn't the Prem. Unfortunately, our level has dropped a lot in the last two years. With RVP, Cesc, Song, and Nasri, we would beat these guys. With the current crop of jokers that we trot out there every week, we'll have to cross our fingers that they decide to show up. I can actually see us getting a win. I can also see us looking terrible. Given how bad we have been this season overall, I'm going to lean towards the latter.
I've never been more pessimistic ahead of a CL tie than I am now. I genuinely thought we could overcome Barcelona 2 and 3 years ago and Milan last year but I'd be super surprised and delighted if we get to advance to the QFs this year.
Oh yeah..because your team has a fantastic record of not choking right? Especially is small games like CL finals at home?
