In that context, surely he understands that whatever offers he makes will be laughed at? With two weeks left to go, of course Newcastle is going to hold out for more for Cabaye!
The only Moyes bit I don't get is why they waited after the buyout clause ended to make a bid below it. I appreciate that they hoped to get someone better, but...........that's just going to get laughed at.
