Thank God NBC hired Martin Tyler. Best in the business and I am glad we still get to hear his dulcet tones. PS God help Newcastle
Wenger and Moyes' movements in the last two weeks should be interesting. Moyes apparently bid for Fellaini and Baines (again), though after Fellaini's buyout clause expired and for less than that clause Wenger meanwhile tried to get Cayabe for 10M when everyone knows he's desperate for healthy bodies. Chump.
Well Cabaye isn't even on the bench. A healthy scratch. Me thinks that bid will be upped to £10,000,000.01.
Fernandinho and Navas not really doing anything, but who needs those bums when you have Silva and Aguero?
Navas not impressing so far, not sure he is better than the wingers they have dumped lately, but early days, but never impressed me elsewhere either Fernadinho looking a bit out of place so far too
On one hand, yes, of course it's better for us. On the other hand, we're supposedly willing to give you 40M for Rooney, which I don't like. But Wenger's reaction in particular is borderline bizarre; surely he understands that the entire world expects him to buy players since he has a 15 man squad with 3/4 of those injured and there are only two weeks to go? In that context, surely he understands that whatever offers he makes will be laughed at? With two weeks left to go, of course Newcastle is going to hold out for more for Cabaye! The only Moyes bit I don't get is why they waited after the buyout clause ended to make a bid below it. I appreciate that they hoped to get someone better, but...........that's just going to get laughed at.
could have been a case of the good old fashioned "I will show you for being a flash bastard" defending from the older days
