Can anyone verify the BeIN listings for the preseason matches? When comparing this list to the directv guide and the BeIN website, there are zero listings that match...weird! Thanks to Epi! Your work on the schedule is priceless! cheers! j
So two of the high profile European leagues will be on a channel that few in the US can get. I guess its back to streams for everything outside Prem and Bundesliga. It is like going back in time to the old days when you couldn't get Serie A or La Liga games on tv with this new channel only seen in something like 7% of US households. It was bad enough when I lost the ability to see French and Dutch games but losing two of the top four is a total joke. So glad Qatar-based oil money is ruining this too after buying the 2022 World Cup and funding PSG to be the French version of ManCity. Awesome.
i sort of blew through some games on my dvr today from beinsport.. picture quality is pretty awesome. shame they don't show arsenal games. i care so little for pretty much anything other than our matches. (except for gambling reasons)
Not really Arsenal related, but anybody around here have experience streaming games in a college dorm? My son moved in at Ohio State today, and he's wondering if they crack down on illicit streams the way they do on downloading music and movies. He's worried he won't be able to see his Fulham matches. Any Input appreciated.
I never had a problem, and that was back in the day of needing Sopcast or other software to watch. Now, with everything pretty accessible direct through your browser, there shouldn't be any issues.
Kinda surprised there's still no announcement of the 9/15 match vs Southampton. Fingers crossed for ESPN2, since I'll be traveling that weekend.
Good news for those with Comcast Sports Entertainment Pack. They will begin to carry the new BeIN Sport network http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2012/08/23/comcast-agrees-to-carry-new-bein-sport-network553499/ Only pertains to the League Cup for Arsenal, but nice to have for the other games, no doubt.
Well hearing that Comcast will show the channel is nice but after waiting so long to get FSC in hd I don't expect to see this channel soon. We just got FSC in HD this summer so even if the channel shows up it will be the spanish version in SD and I'll need to add the spanish package to see it just like the do with the spanish versions of ESPN and Fox Sports. Blah.
I dropped Fox Soccer Plus this season, took that money (and saved money) and went to FoxSoccer2Go. Have to say, very impressed so far.
Phew. But let's hope that "on delay" thing is not a sign of what's to come. We were so blessed with our matches being almost always live on Fox or Espn last year!
As long-time followers of this thread know, I don't do online listings, just TV. But it looks like FoxSoccer2Go is the only (legal) way to watch the Southampton match live in the U.S. Also, I'm a little concerned about the Olympiacos Champions League match on Oct. 3. Not live on FSC or FS Plus ... have to hope for FSN Regionals. ============================================ SCHEDULES ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE All times Eastern (First-run showings in bold) (Matches from past seasons in italics) Fox Soccer Tuesday, Sept. 18: Montpellier vs. Arsenal (CL), 5 p.m. same-day delay Wednesday, Sept. 19: Montpellier vs. Arsenal (CL), 4 a.m. repeat Sunday, Sept. 23: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 10:30 a.m. LIVE Sunday, Sept. 23: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 6 p.m. repeat Monday, Sept. 24: Arsenal vs. Newcastle United (FA Classic, no date listed), 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 8 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Oct. 3: Arsenal vs. Olympiacos (CL), 5 p.m. same-day delay Thursday, Oct. 4: Arsenal vs. Olympiacos (CL), 8 a.m. repeat Saturday, Oct. 6: West Ham United vs. Arsenal, 12:30 p.m. LIVE Saturday, Oct. 6: West Ham United vs. Arsenal, 11 p.m. repeat Sunday, Oct. 7: West Ham United vs. Arsenal, 3 p.m. repeat Saturday, Oct. 20: Norwich City vs. Arsenal, 12:30 p.m. LIVE Saturday, Nov. 24: Aston Villa vs. Arsenal, 12:30 p.m. LIVE ESPN2 Saturday, Sept. 29: Arsenal vs. Chelsea, 7:45 a.m. LIVE[/b] Saturday, Nov. 3: Manchester United vs. Arsenal, 8:45 a.m. LIVE[/b] Saturday, Nov. 17: Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotpsur, 7:45 a.m. LIVE[/b] Fox Soccer Plus Saturday, Sept. 15: Arsenal vs. Southampton, noon same-day delay Monday, Sept. 17: Arsenal vs. Southampton, 12 a.m. repeat Tuesday, Sept. 18: Montpellier vs. Arsenal (CL), 2:45 p.m. LIVE Tuesday, Sept. 18: Montpellier vs. Arsenal (CL), 9 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Sept. 19: Arsenal vs. Southampton, 8 a.m. repeat Wednesday, Oct. 3: Arsenal vs. Olympiacos (CL), 11 p.m. same-day delay YES Network (3-hour block, with Arsenal 360 before match and Arsenal World after) Arsenal vs. Southampton: 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17; 9 a.m. Sept. 18. A note on this. Those in markets with CSN (Chicago, Philly, DC, Boston, Bay Area) may have noticed that have not been showing simulcasts of FSN programming. The deal between the 2 sides expired a few months back, so any games that are on FSN won't be available in those areas, unless you can pick up another FSN through a sports pack or something.
