It does a huge disservice to actual cases of racism when one is concocted by a media machine that also doctored video footage of the same match to change opinion over Pepe's red card. Seemed like a simple case given Busquets' reputation for gamesmanship. You got your UEFA inquiry, and when it came down inconclusive, just he said/he said, Mou starts churning up conspiracy theories.

Learn some humility. You lost on the pitch, you lost the case. Accept it, move on. Your team admittedly looks better when it tries to play football instead of UFC on grass. ;)

I'm talking about the monkey chants directed at Alves when he was booked yesterday. Several sources reported it. Probably not Marca or AS.

"Several sources" include Sport, Mundo Deportivo, and La Vanguardia i assume? I only heard the trademark "Dani Alves hijo de p*ta" yesterday.

Unless you can prove it, all your Catalan sources of mass manipulation mean sh*t, just as much as AS and Marca.

No it's okay when they make shit up, but when somebody has video of that idiot saying what he said and players confirm it; it of course is "concocted".

Special kind of stupid right there. :D

You do a lot of assuming. Here and here and here. It was in the 90th minute when Alves was booked. You seen Messi gesturing back at the stands. I think we can all accept that there are some socios who are lobotomized mouth-breathing goons. Around 80,000 of them. ;)

Are you sitting down right now? Here goes: There was no confirmation from anyone. Thus UEFA tossed the case. Everyone can watch that clip and see the words they want. If he was found guilty, I'd condemn him too.

Ironically, it's the same logic of "he probably did it" that was the grounds for KKK-style justice that you're so convinced by.

So what are you left with but "porque porque, oh why is UEFA so corrupt? Oh my poow wittle teeny weeny club getting all buwwied awound by big bad Bawça that controws EWYTING! oh boo hoo hoo"

Mou's really pushing this thing hard, but you guys just don't do victimhood very well. Sorry.

You guys are the experts i suppose. I downloaded the game that had no commentary, just the noise of the crowd. I still didn't hear any monkey chants that you guys speak of. Check the thread at Rojadirecta for the game if you don't believe me and download it. ;)

^^ That's because there were none. More pathetic from the most pathetic propaganda driven club in the world. How they have the audacity to say something like this after that busKKKets scandal is beyond me.

If Marcelo and Madrid's management don't count as "anyone" then I guess you're right.

I see there was confirmation of monkey chants by everyone, eh?

I ask for proof and you give me...are you sitting down right now? no confirmation at all. Graham Hunter claimed the chants were "some of the loudest he's ever heard" which is bullsh*t because we would have heard it on TV.

The next time somebody asks for proof, you post a video (like 'teh evil Madrid media does') as inconclusive as it is. Giving me three articles, including one from somebody who felt an itch on his asshole because the crowd was yelling Raul, Raul, Raul while Vavid Pilla was being subbed doesn't give me anything.

If the chants were as loud as people claim, we would have heard it, or somebody would have posted a youtube clip. As long as you can't post any of this, why should i bother what some people write?

Supporting Dani Alves is like supporting sickness and poverty.

Aha. I rest my case. As should you and everyone else still hung up on it.

If Barça had a propaganda machine anywhere near as cynical and manipulative as Moudrid's, I would've had plenty more of "sources" for you to dismiss.

Notice also that almost no one in the Barça camp has raised a fuss about Jean-Samuel Leuba. He is a UEFA disciplinary inspector who brought forth the wafer-thin case on Iniesta for drawing a deliberate yellow-card in the CL QF, and later presented the Busquets-Marcelo case to the board. Did SPORT investigate his phone calls to Madrid? Nope. Who cares? Man up and play on. Hasta Wednesday.

Xavi is such a whinger, he's now complaining to Marca about his broken horse and his eggs. This interview makes more sense than the usual shit he comes out with though.

They would blame all their failures and the fact they have half Madrid's major trophy haul on one dictator whom helped them twice do what they accused the government of siding Madrid for doing that one time.

    Like that?

I think this is gonna be LPB's theme song for the 2011-12 season, if not the entire Mourinho era:

He was yours all along and you paid over 30 million for him (split into 25 yearly installments), and made him pay a few millions out of his pocket, so it's not only your club who are poorly managed, your players have a crap sense of finances themselves.

This is like giving away a car, letting somebody drive the crap out of it to work and back, then buying it back for 10.000 over what it's worth, and being proud about it.

I can only picture the Barca neandertals looking at a calculator like the cavemen did when they found out how to make fire. [IMG]

Except that the car is a piss-poor analogy since cars generally don't increase in value as they age. Maybe try wine?

Barca just spent €34m on some gran reserva that's about to peak while avoiding €5-10m/year in storage fees over the past 8 or so years. Do the math on that.

PS... Sorry to hear about your beautiful Benzema blanc turning to vinegar along with your entire cantera.

Oldtimers do. But you wouldn't know that seeing as all Barca fans think anything that is older than 15 years (that includes their mother) is a dinosaur and not worth speaking about.

They say Ronaldo is sometimes too selfish. Here he is in full goal-celebration mode while Messi scores one.
