I think Kun has stuff going on in his private life at the moment that is affecting his football. Of course even an off for Kun is still better than 95% of players. Banega just needs to stay away from cars, drink and the internet, shouldn't be difficult.

That is true. Hopefully he can move to Madrid and sort things out there. Ever needs a minder I think.

Wernbloom yellow card. Nasty kick on Messi.

He should move to Barca, him and Messi linking up on a regular basis would be great. Messi has not scored, he's on the decline and should be dropped.

As long as Banega's minders are not called Jim Bean and Jack Daniels.

Think they will spend on a central defender and keeper. Perhaps if they could unload Villa and Sanchez you never know.

Again poor at the corner. Attack the ball please. Don't stand watching it.

Daniel Passarella should show them how it is done.......

Messi gets kissed and doesn't like it...:p

Another bumble from Romero....... Sabella will have learnt one thing.

Heading drills and setpiece defence drills. None of this zonal nonsense. Attack the ball not the space.

    Boooooooo totally undeserved.

Scoreline should be about 1-6 not 2-3. Flattering.

At least, we won the game. Still disappointed that we couldn't score more.

Romero was crap the entire sencond half when he was actually tested.

As soon as DiMaria went out all the spark on the left went out and the speed. Montillo was useless.

    who is montillo ?
Banega was pretty sloppy as well I would have kept Gago
Terrible to finish with one goal difference

    I liked his play tbh.

    Romero was very bad.

Should of scored at least 2, not a good day for Kun or Pipita though even they scored.

    Never heard of Montillo? lol

Not terrible at at all, I saw this team could score a handful of goal on their best day, today wasn't. It's just a friendly to see a few things, that is all.

They stepped down a gear but still should have banged in six or seven.

Banega was good when he came on and Montillo has some nice touches. Romero needs to be replaced just to pep him up.

Cabellero is definitely the better keeper at the moment and he comes for crosses and controls his area. And the defenders need to learn to attack the ball. Not gawp at it or even ignore what their opponent is doing.

Messi's goal should have stood as well. You can tell when it's over the line and Isaksson hooked it from behind the line.

Still that first half was scintillating. Superb. Need to blow away Venuzeula with that sort of football in a month and a half.

Caballero for Romero is one change I'd make.

If you guys are curious as to what "stuff going on in his private life means" well it means he's giving it to Karina, a famous cumbia singer. This is her most famous song, its understandable why he may be a bit distracted

Gago might be the only player that actually plays better for national team than his regular club; don't know why this kid has not settled in a club. I think that he was a star today, and based on previous preformances, he seems to understand how to feed to guys on top. (poor man's Pirlo?). Next friendly I would like to see them play against a well organized defensive minded team; paging friendly against Germany. (I know we played a friendly against them already, but I like to play those type of Euro teams)

Next friendly is vs Russia which I believe is in August(It will likely be when the players are just coming back from the season being over). I believe November is another friendly schedule under the FIFA calendar but nothing is scheduled for that. The brazucas have a friendly lined up vs Italy(will play them again at the Confederations Cup) another friendly vs England and France will also be making the trip to South America. They will be ready to be really tested against European opposition. I believe they have a friendly vs Russia as well in the mix. I wouldn't mind getting a game vs the Dutch or Italians. We haven't played Italy since 2001, and I would love to see it. The Dutch are also a team that will push our weaknesses. There is still time, but qualifications should come first. If we are strong there, we will be strong in friendlies. And please no games in Qatar,Dubai,Saudi Arabia or any countries where the game is just a game for money. Lets get something out of it.

I really hope the team will play well and does not look shaky during the WC itself. We certainly going to qualify, if Diego roller coaster side still qualify without a playoff, I dont see with current standing we're going to fail.

I remember in between 1999-2002 we beat everyone from Brazil in qualifier & friendly to Italy and South Korea in friendly only to struggle against average England and Sweden.
