What is your opinion re the time? i am assuming 9 am CAT but will check at midnight to be safe.

SF tickets were released at around 1:20 am on May 15. Final tickets at 6 pm. So I have no idea when FIFA plans to do it this Friday. If you are looking for final tickets, I don't think you will have a big window to buy them considering most of the tickets will be snatched by ppl using the scanner even before they are visible on FIFA site.

Maybe you should ask someone on the forum who is using the scanner to sms you or something whenever those tickets become available!

Someone like you maybe?? It must obviously be someone who is awake from 00h30 to about 07h30 CAT time - the rest of the time I can check.

I am in Saudi Arabia. We are one hour ahead of you. So I will most probably be sleeping plus I am not running the scanner anymore. Secondly, the scanner is supposed to wake you up with an annoying sound alert when a ticket you are looking for becomes available. That's the whole point of using the scanner! You don't have to stay up looking for those tickets!

Great news about 160,000 more tickets going on sale. Especially for those of us still with some to put in the resale (not!)

Presumably FIFA will not be updating resales before friday now as presumably they will want to sell there own before they sell ours!!

I'll help you Gronum, I'll be scanning for match 64 tickets and have the computer next to my bed to wake me up if they go on sale in the middle of the night. Send me your mobile number or eq and I'll send you an alert if it wakes me up

Looks like you have to team up just to carry the tickets, might be a bit tricky getting through the turnstiles.

Money was never on my mind Gronem. Watching ppl get the tickets they want and appreciation is more than enough. I am willing to share the source code as well if anyone needs it. I don't care. I think knowledge should be open and shared with everyone. I will definitely do it again for 2014!
