Pohl continues to go out of his way to make sure he disgraces our football so long as it suits him. He says he won't accept a 50/50 split for the money made in the final which obviously doesn't sit well with Metapan that counts on that money to balance their budget. It will be a complete joke if they let him get away with this

He shouldn't be able too do that especially since Alianza rents the stadium... If anything he should be fined.

Agustin castillo brought this point up last year he thinks its silly that their should be one leg final when every other country that uses the apertura/clausura format use two leg final ...This situation just furtehr highlighted the negatives of a one game grand final

Personally I like the single game format. It might be interesting if they rotated the stadium hosting the final and in doing so invested in some of the other stadiums so that they could host. However for a team like Metapan one game in el cusca probably works better then hosting from an economics standpoint. I doubt they would have made as much money hosting Once in Metapan as they did by playing the game in San Salvador.

If they made this two games I could see several teams moving both games to the cusca especially if they played Alianza in the final so it is best avoid that embarrassment.

Jorge Rajo says the final will be split 50/50 but they will consider making it a two game final in the future. Seeing how different the money would be for Metapan if they hosted as opposed to spliting the take with Alianza based on last weekends numbers shows how much of a potential loss that will be for small teams like Metapan

It is the third final in a row this group of kids make in the league they are playing in. They made the final in the reserves for Marte Apertura 2011 again in the 2012 Clausura and now reach the final in the second division.

It is going to be an interesting final this weekend. Cheyos last game in what was at least in my eyes a disappointing career that could have been so much more. It could be Fito's last game in El Salvador.

Final is Sunday December 14 at 3:00 pm ES time

20,359 people attended the final and it brought in $200,089. The split for both teams ended up being $76,392. According to estadisticas primera's twitter account. That is more then Metapan made for the entire regular season

Ciclon del Golfo won the Apertura championship in the second division by beating Turin Fesa 2-0 today and 2-1 on agregate. Hopefully Fesa is able to win the next championship and wins promotion it isn't a good thing that are top u 20 prospects keep playing in the second division against teams like Ciclon
