Does he really want to end his career in El salvador? There were a few rumors going around about him possibly going to a libertadores team or to europe, I hope they come true.
If he wants to go abroad it would be a good idea for him to end his vacation and go train as soon as possible. Metapan has been pretty good about letting guys go abroad so training with them before heading out would be the best approach especially since he can't get away with some of his old habits like he used to when he was younger
Cheyo just got married to some young broad so I hope this wont distract him. He’s had a long career and I hope he still has the passion for futbol and reconsiders his options before committing to Metapan, he has nothing else to prove in our League he needs to go abroad for sure. but... in my on greed I would like to see him tear up the CCL
Word is Cheyo will officially sign with Metapan this afternoon. Hope he is able to maintain his level of play that he showed in Guate.

Cheyo is in talks with Herediano of Costa Rica... Also Edgar Alvarez (Arturo Alvarez' brother) will be playing with Santa Tecla
It would be a mistake for Cheyo to go to Herediano, just this past season they had trouble paying their players so even though they are promising to pay him more it can't be that appealing to go to a club that might not pay. Metapan looks to be in better shape then Herediano is at the moment so this move seems misguided.

The friendly today between Petapa (Guate) and Alianza was suspended because the refs red carded 3 of Petapa's players in the first half so Petapa refused to continue. Earlier today Juventud Independiente tied Mictlan(Guate) 2-2. They didn't sign Miranda as far as I know they did sign Edgar Alvarez Arturo's brother. Santa Tecla has been very interesting to watch its good to see a club try new things. Hopefully there are no clear cut weak teams this season
