its hard to beleive that Toluca can lose like this. and the one thing that got to me the most is that the defense is horrible. this isnt the first time ive said this. I just cant see how Almazan keeps getting started. if i was Chepo, i'd start Gamboa and Duenas as CBs with Manolo on the left and Cruzalta on the right. And when Novarretti gets here, him and duenas in the middle with gamboa and manolo on the sides. ******** you again almazan.

but im happy how they played in the second half and how they didnt give up.

I couldn't find this game on TV to DVR, but I'm glad I couldn't. What a debacle.

zomg, great news, it looks like Novaretti might be joining Toluca in the next day or so. GTFO Almazan.

    Gamboa--Novaretti--Duenas--Manuel DLT

this line looks 100x better now that Almazan is out

    From wiki:

"It was rumored that Novaretti might join Toluca since the departure of Paulo Da Silva, and Jose Manuel de la Torre expressed a great interest in acquiring him for the team. On July 22, 2009, it became official that Novaretti was to join Toluca. But currently he wont play as he escaped from his last club without paying anything for the transfer. His prescence is being requested by local authorities from his country in order to declare for the possible commision of a financial crime. All his salaries or any earnings will be HELD in up 2 million dollars."

I know its his first game, and he might improve, but Novaretti is no Paolo Da Silva. Hes average maybe.

I wonder if his good moment was due to Da Silva having his back.

Also, with the FMF reviewing tapes i wonder if they will suspend Mancilla for the kick to Romero while he was falling.

pretty boring game today, but its fine by me as long as we got the 3 points and stay in 1st place.

but whyyyyyyyyyy did Cristante have to get hurt. it looked pretty bad so i dont expect to see him start any time soon. :(

and i am thinking that Mancilla is actually going to get his 3rd straight scoring title. he is such a beast. he has 4 goals in 5 games while the leaders (villa and cabanas and ludena) only have 6 and they've played every game of the season

So what's the deal with Cristante? How long is he out? He's gotta be close to retirement, no?

Oh man, that's not good at all, but sooner or later Toluca was going to need to start priming (or buy) a new goaltender.

i think talavera will do a fine job, but i would much rather have Chicharito Lozano who was our backup for a whole decade and is now showing great things with Indios.
