I'm going to try to be there. It should be fine, I just need to check the calendar.

Should be a good game, Panama is better than they get credit for and we have fewer and fewer experienced Nats on the roster as they go back to their clubs.

Since F&H is a Wizards partner, are they going to be promoting this at all? I liked the setup we had for the FA Cup party, and no KC game conflicting is nice (hopefully one day this won't ever be a question).

    AO KC Watch Party

    What: US-Honduras (Gold Cup Semi-Final)
    Where: McCoys in Westport
When: Thursday, July 23rd at 6:00

The watch party for our next game will be at McCoys in Westport. It's a great location and they're a soccer-friendly bar. We will have our own room for the game and I think everyone will like it. It's also a very centralized location, so it's an easy drive for anyone. Come out and cheer on the Yanks!

There is a lot right next to McCoys and you can park right there. It shouldn't be a problem especially this early.

The watch party for our next game will be at McCoys in Westport again. Thanks to everyone that came out yesterday. I think everything worked out really well. We had a really good showing yesterday, but hopefully even more people will come out for this one. We will have the same room again. Come out and cheer on the Yanks!

The first AO watch party of 2010 will be at Willie's Pub in Downtown KC (1 block south of the Power & Light) on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. After beating Honduras 4 times in 2009, we look to start the new year off by beating them once again.

    Willie's Pub
    1501 Grand Boulevard
    Kansas City, MO 64108

We'll have the new 2010 AO membership shirt for sale, and some other free merchandise. I'm working on drink specials, but they're roping off a section of the bar for TV's and audio. The owner seems really excited to have us, so let's have a good showing! Bring your friends, it promises to be a great time!

I was originally supposed to be in New Orleans, but I'll be there Saturday. What kind of lineup are we trotting out there? Have they announced it yet?

It's the camp cupcake game, so MLS players and Scandanavian players.

Sure, I didn't expect Donovan or anyone else on a fall schedule to be there, I just hadn't read much on the boards about who was there other than KC guys. I assumed this game would be used somewhat seriously for the fringe WC guys to make an impression.

I think the team will look a little something like this....

    ------------Perkins------------
    Wynne-Conrad--Marshall-Bornstein
    -----Beckerman--Feilhaber-----
    Kljestan----------------Rogers
    --------Casey--Cunningham------

Bench: Hartman, Cameron, Pearce, McCarty, Davis, Findley, Tracy.

I don't know if Kljestan will even play, but I like the guy.

I am fully expecting Findley to get a cap during this game, be it as a starter or as a sub.

I vote Old Style. Based on a blind-folded taste test a bunch of friends and I did at Record Bar a few weeks back, Old Style was the unanimous winner.
