Can someone explain why every time AO has a "deal" for supporters it seems to always cheaper to book/buy on your own? And the options chosen always seem to be more than is necessary and/or ignores the fact that many of us fans are on a budget here.
I was thinking this when I saw the hotel selection for the Jamaica package. But I'm new to the whole away game experience and have never paid attention so I thought maybe that's just what the majority of AO does anyway.
I have noticed that as well. It is nearly always better to go off and buy your own way if the game is here in the states. Now, if it an out of the country type of deal, I might be inclined to go ahead and get the package since it is best to be certain to stay with other US fans. For safety purposes.
Snake I think you need to take into account that many people arent looking for a budget or "bare bones" type of trip. there is no way in hell I'd be going to the jamaica match if we were staying in some shit hole in Kingston, even if it was half the price of what the current trip is the jamaica package is a pretty fair deal.
