The article states Cole did not travel but he is included in the list of players. Confusing.

Don't see how Yesil doesn't get the start up top. He can't stop scoring, albeit at youth level, and we don't have a whole lot of options at the #9.

Good to see Sama included. He may the next player to make the breakthrough into the First Team.

Sama has been extremely impressive with the reserves. He maybe why BR. Has Wisdom playing FB as Sama looks to be a growing monster at centre half. I still think Morgan is a natural goal scorer. And I hope Yesil comes good

Celtic beat Barca yesterday with an 18 year old striker netting the winner. :)

Watt had a trial at LFC before deciding to join Celtic.

    I really haven't a clue...??????
I have no idea which of Liverpools 4 teams will show up tonight.
The team that get into a battle and then scores 5.
The team that dominates for 93 minutes and loses.
The team that can't string 3 passes together and gets a draw.
Or the team that scores 2 early goals and thinks that the game is over.....

I'll be there cheering them on regardless....

yikes. that's probably the weakest lineup we could field. i thought pacheco deserved a start over cole as he played a great match for the reserves and cole, is well, horrible.

in the bright side, our first team got killed by west brom, then our youngsters came back and beat the same team in the cup, so...

Surprised Cole is starting. Silly Beeb got it wrong yesterday and had my hopes up that he hadn't even traveled. Well, he'll be out there so I hope he proves us all wrong. :)

The youngsters aren't doing all that bad so far...hopefully they keep it up because if they lose there's going to be another ridiculous overreaction like there was for last week's Swansea loss.

Great run by Morgan but Henderson wastes the chance

Cole is sunk cost. Ship him out, send him to the ressies, whatever. But no reason to include him just because he makes $XX,XXXX a year when he stifles more promising players in his inclusion

Second, Jones is a big problem we had in the first ten minutes. I counted 4 times he hoofed it instead of dishing it wide, and twice where he dished it wide when he should have hoofed it.

Shelvey has what Henderson doesn't: boby swerve. He retains possession in hard places by movement of his body. Coady and Henderson were trying to stand up and tick it around. Shelvey had no real options, but opens space through intelligent movement.

And Henderson through on goal, that's 50/50 whether to dish that or finish it. Oh well.

36' poor giveaway by Wisdom, Zhirkov to Eto'o, fabulous save by Jones.

Wisdom won't make that mistake again, glad he got it out of him in the Europa League.

Eto'o trying to go it alone.

    1-0 Anzhi, Traore.

Same as Newcastle this weekend. Outplay'em in the first half, they get a goal before halftime.

You can see how we want to play going forward but the defending is miserable again.

Yet again we outplay a team, miss an easy chance and then fall behind. This keeps happening.
