I'm a news junkie interested in international affairs. I have references for most every region except Latin America. I have heard about the network TeleSur yet have heard varying opinons about it's coverage (largely due to it being adminstered by various states including Venezuela, therefore could be subject to strong bias). Anyone here seen it? Opinons on the service? (edit, sorry bout the bad spelling its super late where I am at and I am kinda spent)
Re: Anybody watch Telesur? do you mean CANAL SUR latinamerican news take a new appoach with channel: VME on the line up for dishnetwork you also have tvcolombia (RCN) in the same system telesur? ummmm, not bad they have 1/2 hour from bolivia, argentina and uruguay, one hr from peru and venezuela, Daily.....or that is CANAL SUR? canal sur has more views
Finding un-biased not pro-business news is hard overall. Telesur has good coverage but i have seen biased reporting, but then again I've seen the same from CNN and others.. RCN/TV Colombia is a very poor news network and channel. They mis-inform the public with incredible biased reporting that in a first-world country it would be jaw dropping because of the clearly wrong and mediocre message they transmit. Unfortunately here in Latin America we have no Al-jazeera news.
