Anyone else from the Delaware Valley now in Pittsburgh like me? Pitt, Duquesne, Carnegie Mellon, Robert Morris students or people who married Pittsburghers like me?

I'd like to get a group who gets together either at someone's house or at Pipers on the Southside for matches.

Hey man, I don't mean to hijack but I'm going to be in town for a couple days and would like to catch the match. Any suggestions? I don't know the area at all but am staying at the Mariott on Washington Place.

No problem at all! What days are you going to be in town? You're at the Marriott downtown.

I was going to watch the game at home but it sounds like a bunch of people and some of the Steel Army (Pittsburgh Riverhounds, USL2 side) supporters will be meeting at Pipers Pub on the Southside. It's THE soccer pub in Pittsburgh. Outstanding food, good beer (though not cheap beer, no $1.50 Bud Lights there).

A cab will probably cost you like $5-$10 (with tip) to get there. Alternatively, I can probably pick you up as it's easy for me to swing downtown on my way there. Probably around 8:30-9pm or so.

    Let me know.

Oh man, that's all I needed to hear! I'll definitely be out for the game. Thanks for the ride offer. We'll probably be out and about randomly checking out the city before the game, so we'll just cab it up.

Thank you for all your help, man

    PipersPub.com

Tell the cabbie to take you to the corner of 18th and Carson (or tell him Primanti's Bros on the Southside). Pipers is between Primanti's and the Burger King.

I'll probably be up front in the bar area...likely the only person with a Union jersey on.

I already see the trouble starting...there are going to be five guys at Piper's causing a whole lot of ruckus. I'm good friends with the bartender working tomorrow night.

See you there. Jayzus Friday's going to hurt.

More than 5! My friend Ben (Liverpool supporter, YEP DJ) is celebrating his birthday tomorrow there, my Chelsea supporting friend Jack will be there. Invalid will be there as well.

It'll be Cokes for me though!

Who is bartending tomorrow? I emailed Drew (Pipers owner) to make sure he let the bartender know it was on TV! Guess I didn't need to. I am going to find it hilarious if I recognize you though.

If anyone needs/wants my cell #, PM me. I'll probably be there around 9pm.

I am heading out probably around 8:15. Should be sitting in Pipers by 9 easily.

I go to Pitt, and I'd definatley be down for Piper's but sadly I'm just under 2 months shy of that glorious 21. Come next fall you'll be seeing another Union jersey up front.

Since Pipers is a restaurant you can still get in while food is being served you know.

Hail to Pitt. I'm going to the Spring game next weekend. I have season tickets as well.

I go to Slippery Rock and regularly attend EPL games at Pipers... Might head there tonight to watch RSL.. How are the turnouts for Union games? Do they have DirectKick?

Went to Pitt and met my wife there. She grew up in Bridgeville so we're back in the 'Burgh for various weekend family events and Pitt American Football home games. If I'm in town and available I'll definitely head over to Pipers.
